if mileage drops 6-7% then we will be needing more fuel which will ultimately increase the import duty. that will not make that much impact to the economy. hence, all the research and expense will not make a difference as expect. if we really need to cut the import, we must have to make convenient the public transport. this is tried and tested in all the countries.

Ganna ugane se is e20 kar lo, it's not that straight forward. What about existing car owners who just bought new e10 cars? Why not improve public transport system drastically? Jaisi janta waise hi unke padhe likhe neta.

Depend upon material use for engine. Ethanol can cause rust in fuel tank, block fuel filters, cause carbon deposition in intake manifold so engine performance drop. I work in Automobile R&D company. During early face of developing Ethanol based engines we faced same failure I mentioned above. That is why I said it depends on material of engine. Ethanol can damage engine if material is not suitable for it. Ethanol quickly rust metals, deposit easily in form of carbon

@@thakur.rajat7 Depends upon you and your budget BS 6 Stage 2 have more powerful engine so if you have budget then you can go for it. Otherwise BS6 Stage 1 Kushaq is also not bad, 1 lac discount is good deal. Both Stage 1 and 2 falls under BS6 emission norms so there is no problem. I only gave my opinion based on performance you can also check its Safety ratings, fuel efficiency. If you have good budget check all the parameters anf Test drive both the cars and then decide

Government should consider decreasing fuel prices if E20 powered vehicles engines will drop mileage about 5-7% or I guess this is a business strategy by government to pull money out of citizens

I own Hero Xtreme 200r Sept 2018 model . 4 years 44,580 kms and still running smooth. The Point is Now E12 Petrol now is considered "Normal Petrol" available and replaced E10. Since BS-4 engines are compatible with E10 Petrol earlier, now E12 Petrol raises concern about reliability of BS-4 Petrol Engines in long run. So is it wise to sell Xtreme 200r BS-4 and buy new Xtreme 200s 4v BS-6 Phase 2??

I soooo wish that the fuel prices decrease, but I fear it won't happen. The govt will find one way or the other to increase the prices since the e-vehicle industry is really booming right now. I mean I do get their concerns but I really don't wanna ride a shitty e-bike at 200kmph, I'd rather ride my spledor at 30.

Engine life will reduce. Carborator engine pe to 97% petrol wala fuel daalna chahiye tbhi bs6 me carborator band kar diya tha kyuki ethanol ki amount 10% ho gyi thi to 20% ethanol me to risk double ho gya hai. Mileage bhi ghategi, performance and engine life sab kam ho jayega.

Will fuel stations have both options, E10 and E20? Personally, I think unlikely, cause in last decade, slowly Ethanol % has increased from 1.5% to 10%. But there was no option of E10 fuel and non-Ethanol pure fuel at stations.

Brother, I experienced just opposite results of what you mentioned in your video. I filled E-20 petrol worth Rs. 700 in my 2013 model Chevrolet Sail hatchback. My milege improved and performance was boosted. Do you think I should continue using E20?

What if we use E10 petrol on the new E20 engines? Or is it like we can only use E20 petrol on the new bs6 phase 2 engines

I guess the E20 compliant engines are designed to withstand the E20 fuel, so in a way you can say that the engines are more durable, in which case E10 fuel should be like a treat for E-20 engines. I dont know if it's correct so don't quote me on that.

I really don't understand, we are using e20 fuel to reduce import duty of crude oil, now because of e20 fuel there is drop in mileage which says we need to buy more fuel.

Ethanol is highly hygroscopic. It attracts water particles. As a result air moisture/water is accumulating in transportation, at dealer tanks & in vehicle tanks if its not air tight. Older vehicles with carburettor are facing maximum problem.

Obd2 is different. It is basically OBD2 port support. If you have a problem in your vehicle, OBD2 port allows the Service guy to get the exact root cause of the issue. It is for issue detection. E20 is ethanol 20% in petrol.. both are totally different

Yes. But all petrols in today's Era have minimum e10. E20 only produce water pollution if not use water treatment plant. Their is almost no mileage drop.

Those engines are bs6 compliant which run best on e10 and normal petrol but they are not designed for e20. bs6 2.0 engines have major modifications for newer e20 fuel. If you're purchasing a new bike time is right now since bs6 2.0 bikes will get much more expensive. Luckily I upgraded to P150 recently.
