e-Learning Scenario Formula (don't design from scratch!)

I hate being pitched to just as much as you do, but if you're curious to see how I'm supporting L&D pros, instructional designers, and elearning developers beyond these videos, the link below has the details. No opt-ins, no upsells - just clarity to help you level up. Check it out: www.elearnings...
Only e-learning noobs design their scenarios from scratch. That's why I put together this little e-learning scenario recipe you can you use in your NEXT project. Watch UNTIL THE END where I explain how to apply to different contexts!

Super smart way of tying unrelated scenarios together but which all fit under the same larger umbrella! Yup will be shared and used .. good timing as scenario dev has started! Thanks Anna! Keep up the great videos..love, love them esp on International Women's Day!

Perfect timing! We were discussing scenario based exercises/exams on a call today. I'll certainly be applying this to one of my future projects.

+Jeanne Moeller Woo Hoo! Thank you for letting me know. If you have any technical questions about how to make this work technically (in Articulate Storyline for example) don't hesitate to let me know.

This is golden, the 4 second video is a nice touch too.

+Jane S Right?? It adds crazy amounts of context without bloating the file size - it's actually ridiculous how much 4 seconds can add to an experience.

Wonderful explanation! It is really food for thought. However, I have a question regarding the technical part. Was this content executed in Articulate? If so, how much time would it take to add the GIFs and the variables for the answers of these five cases?

Hello Ma;am thank you such wonderful demonstration. My question is about portfolio (Being New to Elearning Developing) what it should include so as to land a freenlance project...

Craft the kind of piece that represents the work you want to do and get masterful at.. if you want to do simulations, do a simulation, if you want to do scenarios, do scenario based training...if you want to do interactive stories craft that. Make the experience as complete as possible, and have it be truly helpful for someone to actually learn something... that way it will also be something that people will freely share because they know it might help other people. Hope that answers your question :) Good luck in your new career!

Hi Anna, I’ve recently accepted a role in instructional design. I have been in this tile before but I faced all the roadblocks you mention in your case study video. I’d love to find out how to join your community?!

Just discovered your videos & website! I'm a professor in higher education and have been using Captivate to create e-learning modules for my students - do you recommend Articulate, over Captivate? Looking forward to watching more of your videos & I signed up for your e-course, too! Thanks, Keri

Keri! Welcome to the channel :) I've used both... Captivate mostly to build "software demonstrations and exercises" and Articulate for scenario interactions... you could use either one to do these things, I think in the end it becomes a preference. If you're tech savvy, you might want to have both in your back pocket as tools.
