The stock E-flite Valiant was and still is a great performing rc plane, I just wanted to up her game by converting her to a 4s version.

I love my mitey little Valiant. She will do almost anything I ask her to. Grass opps, not so much. Thank you Fat Guy for the fun. Fly it like you STOL it. Cheers

I used to fly this with a 4S 1800, my 4S 2200 were too large, and the performance was spectacular. I have since switched back to 3S as that still provides plenty of power to do large loops, knife edge, stall turns, etc. The more I fly this plane, the more I am impressed with it. In a strong wind, you can fly in in place with full flaps. Fun and it handles the wind remarkably well for such a light weight plane. I have two of them as a friend sold me his old one that he has had to glue the motor mount back to the plane a couple of times so I do not fly it too hard. I am with you, make those changes and I would also buy it in a minute. Two other changes I would like to see are servo plugs so it becomes easy to transport with the wings off, and, upgrade the hardware between the servos and the control surfaces like the ball joints used on the Commander. With the wings on, I can barely fit it into the back seat of my compact car without hanger rash issues.

Yeah they can do it its just a matter of will they. The Valiant is hard to beat.

I think you've created the Valiant Evolution. LOL Those lights are super cool.

I also would purchase a V2 Valiant in top loader config right away! It would also need a step up in construction.

Guess you're now officially a monster creator. But do keep an eye on the temperature of that motor. I have seen other E-Flite power plants get scorching hot inside all that foam.

THE same esc, propeller & 4s works on the (yellow/silver) hobbyzone cub also. Get 7 minutes of air on it!😊

I had another KZread channel recommend the Valiant for a 2nd plane when I was looking at the Cessna Z. I started looking into it and it’s resulted in all positive. Have watched several of your vids on this and other planes. And you have convinced me to pick it up. Price has came up over the years but nothing unusual in that sort. But love the looks of it the more I see it. Do you think they have resolved the motor mount issues in later production? Will upgrade the wheels to larger ones, any recommendations on larger wheels for best grass take off? Congratulations on a great channel, you produce some interesting enjoyable content.

The motor mount issue is hit and miss but any easy fix if yours has it. Also I recommend the Eflite timber Tires as a great grass ready upgrade.

I just bought me a valiant. First time flyer and scared to fly it

Dont be in a hurry, take off into the wind, land into the wind and use SAFE as much as you need to!!!
