Sure would love some info...any info.., on how things are going with your Mike Patey projects. Would love to see a Draco soon! Its gotta have variable props and wheel breaks to be a Draco! Just saying. Beef it up and people will buy it! I could live with a price point similar to say...the SU30 if it is tricked out! I'd much rather spend a couple hundred dollars more than have a stripped down Draco! 😁 The Suspense is killing us guys,,,give us something. Anything! 😋😁

As I was watching, I couldn't help but notice the similarities to your Xvert model, which uses the same single 3 position switch to go from heli/hover mode to forward flight stability mode to forward flight acro mode. The Xvert has an "idle" with the motors spinning up on the ground when you (I think) press the bind button for flight.. I think it is then the H switch that shuts the idle down-or maybe it's the H switch that does both...

What is the best way to set up the throttle cut off with the original DX8? I can't go to -130 (just -30)

Cool, so the plane is in "Stability" (really SAFE Mode) in helicopter and 1st flight mode, then you put it in the 3rd mode which is flight acro mode and it removes the stability features.

By mine the Motors are even in Acromode and in Multirotormode one shows straight up and one a good piece backwards. Is this normal?

Thanks for your review. I got mine yesterday and realized that when it is in airplane mode, the right side motor and propeller is more titled down compare to the left side one. When I change to helicopter mode, the both side motor is in same angle. I haven't fly yet because I wasn't sure if that could affect the flight in airplane mode. Is this normal?

Hello, You need to make sure that the nacelles (motors) are in sync during and after the transition. If they're off, the model could potentially roll during transition. You can mechanically make the adjustment by lifting the wing and adjusting the control arms off the servos.

I can get all the controls to work, but I can’t get any throttle! I have tried with throttle cut and without. What am I doing wrong?

Hello my model has never flown when i try the transition switch "b" it just makes a whining noise -set up as your video required so very disapointed

We do not recommend it and strongly recommend replacing the DX6i (which was first released almost 15 years ago and discontinued many years ago) with a current generation DX6e, DX8e, DX6, DX8 or DX9 transmitter. That said, some have gotten the DX6i to work and you can likely find more information via internet searches (and on RCGroups.com).
