I have owned this plane since November and must say it's a BLAST! Very different feel from my warplanes. This one can hang practically suspended in air or really get it on at WOT. Probably the most fun plane I own. Glad I got it. Also a very very pretty plane. Excellent job on the paint, details, and livery. DON'T HESITATE. GET IT!!!

Glad to see the test flight in higher type winds. I have one of these and haven't flown it yet. Seems to do ok in the wind. Thanks for the landing advice in the wind.

I love the video on the Stearman airplane. I did notice that you placed your arm in the prop area and then your hand while the plane had a battery connected. I hate to hear one of you get a prop strike. On the quad strike it looked like the plane hit the quad. Keep the videos coming. I enjoy them a lot

One of my favorite looking planes in my Hangar, but so hard to get balanced with 2200...I use a 3000 now and finally tamed that pitch happy rascal. You guys are the BOMB!

Looks like a fun plane. Can't wait for my skills to catch up with it so I can grab one. It took me a minute to figure out that this was a proper review video, though, and not a vlog - it had that vloggy, "here's what's going on today" feel. Much less formal structure than what we've been trained to expect from a review. I like the vlogs a lot, but it was a weird, disjointed feeling when the realization hit.

Very cool! Iv'e been the fence between the PT-17 and new AT-6 from HH for a second 3S plane coming from the PZ Sport Cub. I know they are radically different planes. Review the AT-6 next!

Gentleman, fly it as a monoplane. Its an easy modification with the battery behind the receiver in the rear open pocket. Faster, plenty aerobatic. Actually two planes in one. Lots of fun. Posted in RC Groups.

Is it me or on that first takeoff there was a lot of trimming (down elevator)... I found mine to need lots of down trim, with recommended CG... any thoughts on possible decalage issue with this model?

I have this biplane from the beginning of this year. It is a wonder. I fly it with the two batteries indicated. (2.2 and 3.0) If they fly with 3.0, the battery must be delayed with respect to the nose. With 2.2 we have to place as advanced as possible. the wind of the day of the video that we see was too much for such a light model. However they have flown well. The price / quality ratio is magnificent and the cost / satisfaction ratio of flying it very favorably compensates the modest cost of purchase. PEDRO rc

I have this plane and I took an inch off the prop and it still flew but it sounded like a gas powered aircraft. I changed the prop though. I don't want to hurt the motor mount.

I found that a Hobby Star 3s 3700mAh battery (from RC Juice) has enough weight to balance the plane with the battery all the way forward and gives LONG flight times!

The LACK of detail is curious. Stearman engines weren't all black. The hand holes are merely embossed, etc. A little paint would work wonders.

I've been watching your videos for a couple of weeks now. I'm into RC's, but trucks, crawlers, trail trucks. What's with all the beeping noises I keep hearing in the videos? I've never had the chance to fly RC planes before so I'm just doing some research.

Was this plane tail heavy with the 2200? Mine was and i ended up putting a little weight in the nose.

The UMX is not easy to fly. It does not have SAFE, and being so small, everything happens fast!

You should start a Rocket division of flight test...

This model looks very good. Unfortunately you can crash it if you are not a skilled pilot because it comes tail heavy.

Not a PT-17 Navy scheme , so I THINK it a NS-2 . In any event it's a STEARMAN and that is one sweet biplane no matter what it's called. Cool vid. How about flying s9me of these e flite planes after yanking the as3x receiver out and tell8ng us how it really flys . Tired of training wheels on everything from eflite... as far as a good review ,It would be cool for the pnp guys to get the scoop on performance with no stabilizer receiver.

eflite model with what looks like an FMS battery sled???

Had one of these, but the shop I bought it from took it back and sent it back to their supplier. The model is badly designed and the CG as in the instructions is probably way off. I coudnt get it to balance correctly even with the battery forward. It's extremely tail heavy, so causing the nose to point up - even the AS3X cant cope. (It needs a balanced model for the AS3X to work properly.)

Some years ago someone told Josh about this kind of changes... and this person said that we as a community just wait they do not loss the real escence of their show, the magic that caught all of us and the will of waiting for the new episodes... now I feel that magic is just gone and it became into a good memory becuase now the only person we see is Alex talking and talking and as a super star... or other people just flying around without any purpose...
