Big fan of your channel, guys. I used to fly scratch built RC planes like 35 years ago. I'm now a 52 year old kid who wants to get back into the hobby. You've got me going into drone fever. The drone thing really intrigues me and I'd love to see a challenge for the longest range and duration drone. That would make my day!! Boneyard challenge: Stitch together the worst of the basket cases you can find up there...like make four planes from the parts of 12 basket cases... and make Frankenstein RC planes for Halloween! Cheers, this was hilarious, especially the last flight of the Red Barron. :D (bonus reward for doing this...clears basket cases out of the boneyard ;) )

Ive recently got back into flying rcs again thanks to you guys! Ive watched yas for a while now and love your Vlog! You guys do great work and explain everything very well! Thanks for the hard work and dedication to the what i think is one of the best hobby’s a person can get into! Thanks and awesome video, me and my daughter have gotten a couple planes and the I recently had the opportunity to buy a rc plane collection of a guy that was moving and we have been making some of the best memories that a guy could ask for with them! We try to share them with others but with working a full time job and a part time job while taking care of the kiddo on my own it been proven tough to share our experiences with others but we have a blast and both enjoy watching all we have seen so far on this channel and will one day make it to flight fest! Thanks again have a great day!

I haven’t laughed so hard at a video in a long time!!! Austin, I think it’s safe to say you made a memory for all of us to enjoy! I totally can appreciate the cost prohibitive factors in giving away old planes - but with that said, how does this sound: Set up a giving away for 3 planes of FT choosing The winners are required to document their unboxing, preflight and 1st attempts to fly Winners submit videos to FT to be compiled into a Fan Boneyard Challenge episode that includes Skype interviews with winners. Complete with Josh’s judging & commentary ;) I would love to enter that giveaway & watch the episode!! Heck - I’d even donate $20 toward a shipping fund for that give away :) Great VLOG everyone! It is sad to see those 2 eflite Cessna 150s up in the boneyard. Those should be repaired, and flown again. Maybe a timed climb of 30 seconds, then cut power, and see who can stretch the glide and still land on the field. Off field or out of bounds will not count. We do this as one of the events in our club fun fly......it's a hoot. It amazes me how high you can get in just 30 seconds of full throttle.

That would be awesome. I have the eflite 150, and love the thing. Of course I would seeing how I once owned a full scale 150 (for 12 years) and have many memories in good old N8583G. Thanks for replying back to me. Thumbs up to you guys for all you do to promote our hobby.

ctrcflyin2011 kind of late, but I actually picked up one of the FT Carbon Z 150s during the last flute fest and painted it the same way as the plane I got my license in. I’ve flown it a couple times, but not with the new paint yet. Once it’s warm again I will be taking it back out!

I think that’s the thing... but yeah, the challenge was Cool... but the truth be know... it’s actually you guys that make it fun and way better than just some Dudes flying beat up planes in a backyard. Stefan has so much fun that it’s contagious. Josh is the hot glue that holds everything together... TJ flies a mean chase drone... Austin and Alex are always good as well. Keep doing the categories (like warbirds). Wings could be a category. High wing. Low wing. Any plane where the fuse is from a different plane than the wings (Frankenplane?). Fun.

This boneyard challenge is awesome! Y'all should do twin props next as a boneyard challenge.

You guys are killin me with all the stuff you have up there in the bone yard..

I know this is an old video, but I agree with Conor. I think it would be cool to see a frankenstein video, but maybe like bonus points for combining parts from planes that shouldn't be combined. Like, a biplane with one wing from a really small plane, or a plane with a really big rudder. The more hilarious the more points :)

You guys should do a 1 day design/build challenge against each other. It also might be interesting if you guys had to give each other the materials to build with. The prize could be that the plane that wins get's built into a kit for your store and it's only available for a limited period of time.

Here's a challenge: as your boneyard looks like my garage, how about a feature on plane storage? I could use some ideas for racking etc. Whatever I try, I never get tidy. Maybe it's just me!

Loved this, next episode: fly and race "old" multirotors like the h quads and the tricopter. Should be fun to see how bad they fly.

hi guys really enjoyed this one, how about a flite test quad race using all the old skool gear like the kk2 and simon k esc on your old wooden frames. be good to see how they perform on a new style track compared to the new gear we have today.

I think the Boneyard challenge should be about making the WORST planes functional. Taking the top three worst planes, and randomly pick which of the three FT members should have each plane.
