@@PilotRyanMedia Ryan would you recommend this plane for getting back to flying or is there a more suitable Eflite plane perhaps The Cirrus SR22? I'm sticking with eflite because of all the Spektrum safe flight technology. I've just ordered the IX12 radio. Appreciate your channel and any advice. Take care and keep up the great work

Cool love seeing another war bird. Wish it was a zero but it’s still a nice to have another refined P-51 I’m sure it’s the best one yet and I will have to fly one. Everyone should have at least one in there RC hanger looks like it’s the best one yet

Betcha they do a 1600mm one after they do a 1600mm German Warbird! I've wanted a big one, so this may have to wait...but maybe not!!

@@williamdecker3989 I like the removable wingtips specifically because I like to take a lot of aircraft with me to the field. I am so ready for the all this new smart technology too! But of course any new warbird is extremely important to have those little details that make it a winner for me! I love the flight line quality any day though!

Love that new plane smell!!! Looks like a lot of time and thought went into the design and assembly. The 3 piece wing is a super cool idea. I’m loving the paint scheme as well.

They really have upped their game. Painting control horns and such... should have been done years ago very cool. How were the decals, were they on nicely Ryan? Plenty of opting opportunity to whether it in places....I want one. Now you have to get them to do a proper scale Hurrican and ME109...please

Its really pretty and the 3 piece wing is a great idea!! But I can’t get excited over another mustang.... A Reno Racer of this size would have gotten me jazzed but this is not an earth shatterinf release for me... congrats on the collaberation guys!

Come on Ryan... keep some integrity here! Yes, it is a new wing design and new electronics. Essentially a V9 of the ever evolving FMS P51. Exact same fuse with same battery tray, same gear, same gear doors, same retracts, same everything. Even the little vent behind the cowl...identical. I think it is great the improvements Eflite/FMS have brought to this model since the V8 has been out for 6 years. But, PLEASE don't pretend like this is an all new design... you of all people know better. Go grab a 1450mm FMS P51 and start comparing. Let's try to have an unbiased, honest review and not just follow the $$.

Jameson Clark it’s not a 1450 it’s 1500 and it’s 6s plus it has brand new tech. I’m experienced with the others. Sure they share dna but this is not a rehash.

@@PilotRyanMedia Well aware. Why I said new wing. Never said it was just a paint job. I understand it has all new electronics and a new wing with a better design. I don't blame them for starting with the FMS 1450 airframe for the project. I have had mine 5 years and it is now on 6s as well. Beautiful flyer with great gear. Just funny to see you react to some of the features like they haven't been on the FMS for 6 years already.

Sweet, another to add to my list, think I’ll enjoy the T-33 for a month or two before I splurge on this one

I like it. Day late dollar short though. I bought the 1700 red tail FMS a month ago.

It's got it all. Except Remote ID onboard. Unless I miss my guess, it won't be long until this and any other plane you currently own will be illegal to fly without electronics upgrades and registering the plane itself with the FAA. Maybe not, but probably. Personally I'm not buying any more planes until I see how this shakes out. I may however be about to buy a few more current generation 6 channel receivers while I can, so I can continue to build kits and fly free from tyranny. May be the only way to fly a new plane a year from now without bowing down to the FAA, assuming your willing to break their laws. I'm willing, and absolutely plan to.

Good luck trying to get the 4 wing screws to seat right! Sent my back today! buyers beware!

It’s a fairly advanced model to fly that requires a good deal of experience to fly successfully. With that the assumption is that the buyer would already have a transmitter. In this case a Spektrum tx.

Guess I’m selling a couple to get this one.

Every RC plane maker...Stop gluing the clear canopy on! I want to detail the interior cockpit and put a custom paint job on my pilots...even using cartoon characters in some of my planes! Homer Simpson will be piloting my AL-37! Baby Yoda is going in my 1600mm Spitfire!

Would love to have this one in my hangar, but no way am I buying any more Horizon products until they resolve their disgraceful UK customer service,. :(
