I'm a rookie at this and I like how you call out your maneuvers. There is so much to learn in order to build and fly. Thank you, you guys are great teachers!

Love the paint scheme and the power is off the charts. Great video guys Ryan working it on those landings and Bobby killing it on the camera.

Sometimes I think it easier to land without flaps. I use them on my approach and put them up within 10 feet of the runway, seems I bounce less. Great video, excellent job

Model looks Phenomenal. Im not giving you a hard time:) just trying to sincerly help considering so many beginner and newer pilots watch you guys . Chopping throttle is no beuno on warbirds. Sure,you can get away with it with lower wing loading foamies like this p51 and some edfs but still its so much easier to have consistent ,predictable little to no bounce landings if you truly fly her to the ground. You can spot land on a dime with correct throttle. Even idle is better then chopping it. Imo this is one of the bad habits that is super easy to correct and youll get, fully predictable, locked in landings when you do that. You shouldn't need steep angles its all about the throttle. Steep looks cool though but try it around the idle to slightly above range for fully predictable,buttery landings! ESPECIALLY IN WIND:)

Been flying this warbird in Realflight 9.5 and even though I land it 100% of the time, it was impossible to do without bouncing it like you did. Took lots of practice to get to land smoothly without the bounce. It’s hard to master, but I’m working on it, still only landing it without a bounce 1 out of 4 landings. The key is about 1/3 throttle with full flaps as I shallow glide down and cutting throttle just before the wheels touch. Hardest plane to land smoothly in Realflight for me so far.

Same price as the 1700mm FMS and just another Mustang, kinda let down after the SU-30. I wanted another "different" plane. But great videos Ryan and Bobby!

I like it!! Reminds me of the big FMS P-51, except as3x and safe which is a plus!

The looks and quality of this Mustang is no comparison to the FMS!

Why are quite a few people criticizing a new P51 being released. This isn’t just another Mustang. There were no P51s in the market that had Smart plus high performance until this one. Besides, the P51 is one of the most gorgeous airplanes ever made.

The Mustang is not a good first plane. It exhibits some character that takes some experience to master.

Your so used to jets that your flaring It in on landing , with a warbird you have to fly it in . Not a bad attempt on the grass . Love the plane I’m getting one

It might have come out of the FMS moulding machines, (I have no idea if it did) but that's where it ends. This is a E-flite designed and engineered model that has absolutely no comparison to the others in scale outline, flight, design and overall qualiiy. From what I can see, the foam even looks like it has tighter cells, that are not that noticeable. I hope so anyway.

Scotabot you don’t have a clue about this industry and co-branding. Eflite is not a manufacturer, it is a retailer. This is a FMS product made to Eflite specs. There is nothing wrong with that.

@@lmramos44 I have been involved with this Hobby for over 45 years, as well as retail and manufacturing, OK! I know a lot more than you think I might. Reread my post more carefully. Made to E-flites specs as you said. I'm pretty sure that is what I typed above. Your right there is nothing wrong with that, most all of these planes come out of only a small handful of factories in China. Not going to argue with you over something so silly. Why you had to start insulting, I have no idea. You must be a child.

Great flight review I like how you leave the mistakes in shows your human brother. Fantastic model definitely the definitive mustang on the market. Got to be careful not to get this one to slow there known for biting people

You need to land with some power. You for sure don't want to just push the nose over from up high and try and land it like a glider. That 16 inch windmilling prop is acting more like a brake, that's why your running out of energy over the numbers and in the flare!

Tbh, I'm not digging the blue camo. At this price range, I'd rather have the Freewing Flightline P51 and buy an AR636 + Sound System. :3 For now, I'll continue flying my Eflite P51 June Nite

Way different experience. Nose overs are way more likely with the other due to where they have you out the flight battery.

Has anyone flown this P51 with a 3200 6 s or 4000 ???

This bigger bird is more portable than 1.45m FMS version. I have a little hard time and have to be a little creative to transport my FMS Mustang in my Nissan Sentra

A great debated topic. P-51s of the 361st were never painted blue. Colors can look distorted by the sun and weather/moisture conditions. The blue P-51 mustangs of the 361st that the British spotters saw in the distance we're actually painted OD, but looked blue.

If Pilot Ryan has a hard time landing it...that's a NO for me.

Don’t rule it out. It was very crosswindy and I hadn’t flown a taildragger in awhile. Once I steepened the approach it was dialed in. I’ll make videos with the SAFE enabled as well.

I was thinking the same thing. Before I hit the “Place Order” button, I’m adding 2 props and a set of backup landing gear. Probably a replacement spinner. It’s going to be a super calm day (no wind) before I try a maiden. My dad, an Air Force Pilot always said, “A good landing is one you can walk away from.” Of course the Air Force didn’t make him pay for the landing gear, prop, and nose cone... (LOL!)

OVERPRICED FOR A SMALL 6S. I DON'T WANT ALL THAT "SMART" TECH. ALL I NEED IS A 6 CH TELEMETRY AND MY 6 CH TRANSMITTER.

This is modeled after a full scale paint scheme. I had the same scheme on a Mustang except from Volantex.

Yeah it’s cool and all but the freewing is 4s faster more scale and also cheaper... I’d be on board if someone would come out with the razor back p51 everyone and their mom is making bubble tops
