E.D.I. Mean on Stretch Allegedly Setting Up 2Pac, Jimmy Henchman Getting Double Life (Part 12)

Part 13: • E.D.I. Mean on 2Pac Be...
Part 11: • E.D.I. Mean: 2Pac Used...
Part 1: • E.D.I. Mean on Kastro ...
--------
In this clip, E.D.I. Mean revealed his favorite 2Pac song is an unreleased version of "Hard on a N***a," which he says shows 2Pac at his darkest. 2Pac worked with Thug Life rapper Stretch on the track, which led DJ Vlad to ask E.D.I. Mean about rumors that Stretch set up 2Pac for the shooting at Quad Studios. E.D.I. said it was his first time hearing the rumor, and he likened it to the rumor of Suge setting up the Las Vegas shooting where 2Pac was shot. To hear more, including E.D.I. Mean's thoughts on Jimmy Henchman likely spending life in prison, hit the above clip.

I’m glad Jimmy Henchman got double life. He deserves 100% of it! Most don’t know of his tactics used to get people to work with him. Short story about him and I. Someone I worked with (that had just been released from prison on work release and was a blood gang member) let Henchman hear my mixtapes that were out at the time. He liked them all. Henchman wanted me to be a DJ for his Henchman mixtapes back in 2000. Upon me turning down his offer, he sent the dude that let him hear my mixtapes to my house along with 2 other dudes. They came with weapons, but tried to act like they were just passing by to hear beats. I also made beats at the time on top of being a DJ and studio engineer. After a few minutes they let it be known that they were there to put pressure on me to work with Henchman. They went to pull their weapons but I already had my weapon drawn and let it be known what my intentions were. Needless to say, they all left quickly and Henchman never tried to pressure me into working with him ever again! Not too long after that he found some other DJ to do the Henchman mixtapes and also a few for The Game. He ended up not paying that DJ for his services despite having an agreement to do so. I knew he would try something like that. Hence my reasoning for staying away from him. Then for him to send gunmen to my house to try and pressure me, I was through at that point! So this is why I say Henchman deserves EVERY year of that double life sentence!

Randy "Stretch" Walker was an underrated Rapper and Producer, Pac's day 1 homie from The Live Squad, Queens Crew with his Brother Majesty and DJ K-Low. Dope hardcore hiphop crew check out the HEARTLESS video. Also, Ironically, Live Squad had crazy connects like E-Money Bags, Mobb Deep, Ed Lover, and Nas, still crazy because Pac was in that circle and all the drama he had with MD and Nas. Anyway...Pac has more than albums worth of songs with Stretch, Crazy Chemistry on all their songs. Stretch and Biggie songs with Pac like Runnin from the Police (og) and House of Pain are timeless.
