They gave us a pop story..his most infamous moments we all knew..instead of a real biopic

Poorly directed, poorly written, poorly edited, not enough actual on Location shots, the whole movie was basically shot in Atlanta, except for the Vegas shooting scene. Not historically accurate enough, it's a period film also & it didn't have that 90s' aesthetic it was rushed. The actors did their best with what they were given. Pac deserves a series that goes in depth spanning from 1968 ( when Afeni joined the Panthers ) so there could be a better understanding of who Afeni was, how the Panther 21 happened, & the world Pac was going to be born into, to September 13 1996. It would be better that way like The Wu Tang An American Saga, The New Edition story, The Temptations, Jackson's an American Dream, etc Pac's story is too important to be done with mediocrity .

excatly.They didnt pay attention to the details or focus on the other rappers/characters.I know its a pac movie but literally every rapper on deathrow had 1 scene. We didnt even get to see how the outlawz,thug life and dramadycal came to form neither did LT Hutton pay attention to his deathrow life.Because his personal one was already portrayed in Tupac:Resurrection. Should have payed more attention to the time he spent in the studio making songs instead of making 1 scene of a song less than a minute.Its like the movie was like 1.5 speed

The script wasn't that bad - I lived through Pac and remember pretty much like it was portrayed - the issue was lack of depth; it was essentially one long unsung on someone famous. Jada and others that spoke out against it "killed" the movie before it could get any legs. Her criticism mattered because she was such a big part of his life during that period. I am disappointed that the movie didn't do well because the guy that played Pac captured some of his essence - not as high energy but had the core of his reflective personality and grit.

Shout out to Dominic Santana who played Suge Knight in the movie and the series. I met him on set of ONE TREE HILL doing security at Screen Gems/Sony in Wilmington. North Carolina. Solid Dude! ✊🏾

Movie was trash. The accurate information is all over the internet. The movie was supposed to depict tupac the way he would’ve depicted himself. Very poor production, poor script.

There’s so many things to unpack when it comes to Tupac and they basically was trying to smack that all together in that movie, they should’ve done a short Netflix series or something if they really were that passionate about his life and story. Resurrection was probably the best I’ve seen regarding his life.

Pac was ahead of his time with the Ipac 1G iPad 😁😁😁

The most slept on biopic is the Jacksons American Dream; it was a 3 part made for TV biopic that blows most of the recently made biopics away

Straight Outta Compton was good but was definitely Dre and Cube's version of events. Danai Gurira played Tupac's Mother in All Eyez on Me and did a good job.

Nah... I disagree. She was over-acting in all of her scenes; it's the same type of melodramatic performance you see from a stage actors in a local community theatre Play.

MY personal issue with the Tupac movie was that the information displayed was news that we already knew as fans. It should’ve shown parts of his life that we did not know about...things that weren’t necessarily already on his records.

When Denzel played Malcom X. That was almost better than Malcom himself

The real Outlawz playing older versions of the Outlawz when they were actually Younger than Pac blew my mind. They actually had Ciroc in the club smh

I saw all eyez on me for first time since they released on 3 years ago on June it was very good and excellent job

The 2pac story should be a multiple season tv series to fully tell his story

2pac and biggie unsolved series was really dope. Very well done.

It seemed like they were fast forwarding through little snippets of his life, instead of going into details. And they opened a 5th of Henny EVERY OTHER SCENE.

I agree with EDI , We were never gonna be satified , Tupac himself was larger then any other .

The only way to do anything on the bright screen about Tupac and his life is to do a similar thing to Band of Brothers. A HBO X amount of parts series. His life was so busy and full of events and stories to tell. Capture every detail and do it with a top budget and producing team.

I thought kat graham did a great job in the movie. My criticism was the organization of the film. I thought most of the actors did a fantastic job.

The movie was alright for what it was to me. I understand a lot of things weren’t true or exaggerated but the man died so there’s a lot that we not go know. Straight outta Compton had ALOT of inaccuracies but people loved it.

I was smokin blunts and sippen a 40 in da movie theater watching it it was entertaining and its special to me cause of that . But it could've been better, either way its art. That’s not what the problem was. They basically put a movie together that was a re-enactment of all the footage that exists of Tupac. There was next to no info in that movie that we, the public, didn’t already know. Whoever wrote it was garbage

I mean unless he comes back like Jesus, there won't be a perfect representation of his life. Heck, even if he did come back, people would still criticize it lol.

People always focus on if the actor looks like Pac but that is like the least important thing about making a biopic. You need an actor that can capture the spirit of Pac, the charisma etc. AND you need a good script, a good adaption of the real story. You can and should sacrifice (or bend) some factual detials in favour of a good story. This movie was just a litteral reinactment of a bunch of news stories and interviews, didn’t tell a good story, didn’t offer the viewer anything more than that. Not terrible, but amateur work IMO. Tupac deserves more than that.

The ending to the movie could have been better... Could have added a dedication video at the end mentioning how many records he sold and the impact he made...

That NETFLIX series with Tupac and Biggie made more sense to me. You can't tell an in depth story 'bout them two in 2 hours.

The Biggie movie was dope; the Tupac movie was left a lot to be desired. I never felt that the Tupac actor was Tupac at any point in the movie, but that wasn't the case for me with the Biggie actor in the Biggie movie.
