I have a one-wheel pint X and I absolutely love it. From all the things that I've tried there is nothing like riding a one wheel. Sure. It only has a single wheel and is certainly not as safe as a four-wheeled electric skateboard, but it makes up for the lack of the three wheels in pure, fun and community. Not to mention it doesn't need any remote control. I'm very safety conscious individual but I still bought one lol. If you find it at all, interesting then I'd highly suggest looking into one. I really don't think that you would regret it. That's for electric skateboards. This is probably just another great option.

As soon as I saw you ride a skateboard on without your helmet on and your butt pad on I said oh my god look how cool he looks skating through that parking lot wow!

My friend rides and owns everything from a pararotor to super fast electric trials bikes to an electric unicycle. He told me that the one wheel is THE MOST DANGEROUS thing he's ever ridden! And, this is from a total daredevil dude! He's ridden them all extensively and that's his opinion. Needless to say, he sold his one wheel and told me he'll never get on one again. He's over 20 years younger than Ken. 🥴

Yea the onewheel is pretty much acknowledged as the most dangerous PEV with the eskate being a close second despite the extra three wheels which is followed by EUCs, scooters, and ebikes. Onewheels have little to no safety features and have relatively weak motors that will cutout and nosedive unexpectedly over minor obstacles or by accidentally pushing through the tiltback. Combined with the fact it comes to a sudden hard stop while launching the rider at an angle right on your shoulder with all your weight and momentum straight into the ground and you got yourself a recipe for a broken clavicle. Eskates are dangerous cause they have much higher top speeds and the small wheels are liable to get caught on something and launch you some place else but you're probably in for a slide rather than a quick hard stop like on a onewheel which still sucks and can still break something if you land wrong but is still less likely to break a bone not to mention most of the danger is mitigated by situational awareness though you can still suffer from speed wobbles you probably won't crash as unexpectedly as you would on a onewheel. Not to mention the extra three wheels means even if the board somehow does fail you'll simply role to a stop. You'd think EUCs suffer from the same shortcomings as onewheels given their similar natures and higher speeds but it is much much harder to get a cutout on a euc cause of the strong motors not to mention the huge wheels can ride through potholes more easily also the physics in a crash on a euc is inherently different from one on a board thanks to the stance. Landing flat on your face will likely result in more but less severe injuries thanks to the greater surface area distributing the force of the impact.

I agree with him. Lol I have a paramotor as well, and I love the sky. Put me on a 1 wheel and I'm going to the hospital. And I grew up skating.

@@xvaldez3284 Generally agree, but there are of cause e-boards with 6-8 inch (150 - 200 mm) AT and off-road wheels. You almost have to try to get those stuck. Also: Nobody forces people to go max speed :) . Personally I love accelerating & braking hard, but I rarely go past 15 mph (25 km/h).

Love my one wheel pint, and I'm in my 40's.

Awesome video Ken but please put a bucket on the bean! Even the smallest tumble can leave you wishing you had some kind of lid on.....I recommend anything with MIPS BTW. Otherwise - RIP IT....

The fact you can't repair a one wheel makes this Possway an interesting option. I too am 55 and interested in trying some sort of motorized surfboard.

At our age, we cant chance breaking a arm or leg. 6-8 months being laid up just wont work for me.

Don't ever hit top speed on a one wheel. You over run it, and the motor can't keep up, the front digs into the ground, and you find out what the ground tastes like.

Boosted boards are garbage. They went out of business cause they sold mediocre boards at premium prices. Seriously the og boosted board probably only went up to 20mph and had a max 12 mile range while charging like $1,200. That board he has has a 32 mph top speed and 20 mile range while only costing $500 not to mention it has cloud wheels and a swappable battery. Significantly better specs at less than half the cost. I always laugh when I see people trying to sell their used boosted boards for like $700+. Like lmao who's gonna buy that relic in this day and age when they can buy a brand new board with better specs for less. Not to mention you'll have to worry about repairs, maintenance, replacement parts, battery degradation, and other things on a used board. Granted this a new company so they're not all that well established but even then you can still find better boards from brands like backfire, meepo, exway, etc at around the same price range. Might not get the same bang for your buck as you would from possway but they're well established brands.

I would never buy the One Wheel , the company is anti consumer 👎🏼

I got really good on it but always wore my full protection gear. Motorbike jacket, wrist protection, helmet, and they came in handy when I was just riding along at 30mph and hit a pot hole in the road and hit a lamp post with my head which split my helmet in half. After a fortnight off work with broken ribs and concussion I still get dizziness. I used to ride a skateboard when I was much younger. I'm 58 now and wouldn't be here without the helmet. I have since removed all my videos off Facebook apart from this one. Even if you don't wear all the gear wear a helmet dude and never get too confident. I did over 800 miles on mine before it tried to kill me. I sold it that same week. I now ride a much safer electric bike.
