When storing lithium batteries the best storage voltage is about 3.8-3.85v per cell. I've noticed that the way different bikes/bms's/controllers calculate the percentage varies. So it's good to know exactly where to leave things.

I have been looking for years and love the new eride and your vids, great job all around. I’m 42 and have ridden all my life and when I think of these bikes I think of batteries. I live in bar harbor Maine and unfortunately can only ride like 9 months without studs, my question is would you ever use a trickle charger or dose the bike come with one/best option for storage battery wise? I appreciate the info and all your vids, keep it up.

  • @Talariaboys

You would just check your battery every 3-4 weeks over the winter and plug it in to charge for 30 minutes here and there to keep it in the ideal range. These batteries aren’t really designed to be trickle charged.

Thank you for -posting such a helpful video about the maintenance for these bikes. I'm in the market and trying to decide between the Talaria R and the E-ride Pro. My biggest question between them is the transmission. I'm leaning towards the Talaria because it has a gear box vs a belt drive. Can you weigh in on which you prefer and more importantly, which is more reliable long term?

  • @Talariaboys
