ഇന്ന് aircraft മൊത്തത്തിൽ computer controlled ആയി.പണ്ടത്തെ പോലെ Analogue devices ഒന്നും തന്നെയില്ല.Airbus നിലവിൽ pilotless aircraft വികസിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരു പക്ഷെ ഭാവിയിൽ അത് നിലവിൽ വന്നേക്കാം...പക്ഷെ എന്റെ ഹീറോസ് ഇന്നത്തെ Glass Cockpit ൽ സുഖമായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന pilots അല്ല മറിച്ചു പണ്ട് GPS നു വളരെ മുമ്പേ Sextant ഒക്കെ വെച്ചു Manual ആയി പെൻസിലും പേപ്പറും വെച്ചു നട്ട പാതിരക്കൊക്കെ Atlantic ക്കും Pacific ഉം cross ചെയ്തിരുന്ന Old Generation Aviators ആണ് ( I mean in the 50's to late 70's). They were real men...!!🙏🙏🙏

Tried to explain well from a general point of viewe....hats off.... Navigation is chart based work basically..and once it's marked, coordinates are arranged with heading (in degrees) and the same way points will be feeded to GPS ..and steer the accordingly...Other than gps...many other instruments are used...eg.electronic charts...etc... Once it's is connected to auto mode, flight will follow exactly as fed in the GPS...any variation will get marked in the display... however pilots make close look out during auto mode..other than radar and anti collision equipment...

Keep it going. ചെറിയ ഒന്ന് രണ്ട് തിരുത്തുകൾ വരുത്താൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. ഒന്ന് International Waypoint, Domestic Waypoint എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഇല്ല. പകരം Airways ഇന്റർനാഷണലും ഡൊമെസ്റ്റിക്കും ഉണ്ട്. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ W വച്ച് തുടങ്ങുന്ന Airways പ്രധാനമായും ഡൊമസ്റ്റിക് ആണ്. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് W15 കോഴിക്കോട് നിന്നും തിരുവനന്തപുരം വരെ ഉള്ളത്. ( ഓരോരോ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ Airway രീതിയിൽ വ്യത്യാസമുണ്ടാകും ). രണ്ടാമതായി Enroute ചാർട്ടിൽ ഓരോരോ സ്ഥലത്തും കോൺടാക്ട് ചെയ്യേണ്ട ATC യുടെ frequency ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും പൈലറ്റുകൾ സാധാരണ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നത് ATC handoff തന്നെയാണ്. സിമ്പിൾ ആയി പറഞ്ഞാൽ ഒരു ATC യുടെ പരിധിയിൽ നിന്നും അടുത്തതിലേക്ക് മാറുമ്പോൾ അടുത്ത frequency മുൻപത്തെ കൺട്രോളർ നൽകും. ഏതെങ്കിലും കാരണവശാൽ അത് നടന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ ചാർട്ടിൽ നോക്കിയും കണ്ടു പിടിക്കാം. മൂന്നാമതായി ഒരു സജഷൻ ആണ്. വീഡിയോയിൽ എയർവേയും Waypoint ഉം കാണിക്കുന്ന ചില ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്താമായിരുന്നു. മാഡം കാണിച്ച വീഡിയോ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ആ Enroute Map കാണിക്കുന്നില്ല. പൊതുജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഈ മാപ്പുകൾ സാധാരണ കിട്ടാറില്ലെങ്കിലും ചില സൗജന്യ വെബ്സൈറ്റുകളിൽ അവ കിട്ടുന്നതാണ്. www.skyvector.com ഇത്തരത്തിൽ സൗജന്യമായി Enroute Map ഉം മറ്റ് കാര്യങ്ങളും സൗജന്യമായി നൽകുന്ന ഒരു വെബ്സൈറ്റ് ആണ്. ഈ വെബ്‌സൈറ്റിൽ കയറി വലത് ഭാഗത്ത്‌ മുകളിലായി കാണുന്ന WORLD HIGH എന്ന ഓപ്ഷൻ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താൽ En route Map കാണാം. മൗസ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഡ്രാഗ് ചെയ്ത് നമുക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള സ്ഥലം കാണാം. ഇനിയും ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള വീഡിയോകൾ ചെയ്യുക. ഭാവുകങ്ങൾ.
