Friend had dropped a hair dryer off said it was left outside for 3 days and wouldn't work, after watching your video I removed the filter and spun the motor with a small long screw driver and did the trick, works perfect. Thanks for the video.

It seems my screw at the bottom is stripped so cant get it open to remove filter

Have to just pry it off. A couple of the screws no longer unscrew. The filter plastic will break around the screws, but it will still work. I have to do this at least once a year.

@@tonybraun6857 thank you…i got it open…my three white lights also flashing and dryer cutting out…so need to try and see why

Take the motor out off the handle and spin it by hand to unlock it. Sometimes it get stuck (rust/debris). This is normally why it flashes white lights and the stops right away.
