Great video! Dynaudio sound quality is the best in the industry. I have been using Dynaudio for over 20 years and I am amazed with their sound quality.

Video drops just as I finished setting up my new Wharfedale Evo 4.2's that arrived this morning. Was cross shopping it with the Dynaudio Emit M20 but ended up opting for the Evo 4.2. Dynaudio is still killer though, would love a pair of the Contour 20i. Enjoying the fact you've delved into Hi FI audio on your channel!

I’ve been spending money on speakers for waaay too long… sounds kinda like a bargain especially since they’re active. 20’s seem up my ally. Tbh I’m not sure I’ve ever demoed active floor standers. Really enjoyed this.

Glad to hear you will also be carrying the Bluesound node. I have the Node 2i and want to get the new version. They are a great bang for your buck. And sound much better than Bluetooth

hello, yesterday I had the idea to put foam in the rear event of my xeo and what a change in wall mode, the bass below 40hz is revealed up to 25hz without distorting the medium and high frequencies. I urge you to give it a try. In addition, you can put them close to the back wall since this way they will be considered as closed speakers and no longer bass reflex.

I’m never going to buy these (just not my thing) but I love hearing the details and seeing the shots.

love the specs on those. Would love if they could offering something with the sound in a wall/ceiling speaker to be more minimalistic and keep the bench clear. Love a speaker that can be heard but not seen.

I've got the xeo 20s with a bluesound node 2i. Kind of dumb that you need those dumb little boxes do add feature that imo should be standard on these speakers. Like it's unbelievable that these don't even have a sub out.

Something to consider for the discerning iPhone users in the OG following. Belkin just released a dongle that brings AirPlay 2 functionality to speakers like these. (I much prefer AirPlay to Bluetooth, most would agree)

No... don't really agree. If I'm going to spend high price points for high end speakers. I'm not using wireless anything to play music on them. I'll go analog and enjoy the clarity.

It's just a selector if you have multiple pairs within Bluetooth range. No difference in sound.

Hello, I'm very interested in purchasing the XEO 30s but you barely talk about them. Have you run into any Bluetooth interference issues with them? And have you been able to test them with a bluesound node? My goal is to use the bluesound node to stream lossless audio wirelessly (without the need for the phone) and also take advantage of it's HDMI eArc connection for the ultimate mininal theater setup! Any info or way to contact you guys to talk about this would be appreciated!

They are great. I find bluetooth connectivity to work really great with all the Xeo. Bluesound Node/Xeo 30 combo is really...really good. I like that combo a lot. Hit me up matt@obsessedgarage.com. I still have my personal set that has been sitting in the box for months now.

They were much, much better than a Music. I like the KEFs, but they are a little brighter. I love the DynAudio tweeter.

They don't make the Xeos any longer. The new version, although much higher end, is the Focus. The problem with the Xeo was their wireless capability and subwoofer connectivity. It was not good. But...they did sound great. Yes, I liked those more than the others.

It doesn't. It just helps you figure out which Dynaudio is in each room if you have more than one set.

No comparison KEF makes great speakers but Dynaudio sounds mutch smoother

I had the LS50W and returned them for the xeo 20. Much happier. The xeo has less features but sound better. The kef lacked bass and the highs were a bit too harsh imo

Don't you just hate having wires running everywhere? -- These bad boys are going to need a power source, so in addition to a power cord, you might as well run the additional audio cables.

Doesn’t work out that way. It is a HUGE advantage to have to just plug the speaker into an outlet. You have outlets everywhere, so you don’t need any wires going between the speakers and/or other AV hardware devices.

The major problem I see here is using an iPhone as the source paired with high-end wireless speakers that don't support Airplay 2. Any wireless setup using Apple devices should be taking advantage of Airplay.

Not having Airplay2 is a dealbreaker for me. Bluetooth is a horrible way to play music through high end speakers.

@@jxke Technology is improving everyday bro, and convenience is a major consideration for many people. Wireless audio in 2022 can sound pretty f*ing amazing.

I would NEVER buy speakers without listening to my favorite CD on them. It's just too critical a component to buy without listening to them first.

Unless you live in a larger metro, there's little chance you're going to be able to listen in person to high end stuff. Research, find trusted reviewers, buy online and try it out. Don't like it, sell it or take the restock hit and return it.

That wireless system is a f.... joke. Got the connect and link to my xeo speakers. Nothing connects no manual solves it, and the bluetooths in the speakers are gone, cant connect to the slave speaker. Thought the Dynaudios was more concern with the rumors they get. Sad to see they throw it all away.

Yeah, its not great. They discontinued these.

Save some dough and find some vintage JBL L100's. You'll thank me later. Don't get the new models. They aren't worth the 2k price tag. If you really need bluetooth. Go with the Klipsch "The Sixes" speakers. They beat out Dynaudio any day with a better price point.
