Jiles Stewart She set Dynasty on 🔥 and the ratings blew up! She and Joan Collins had fun on the set and we're actually friends. Sjudt learning Diahann Carroll passed. Such a class act. dee Bap Krystle could have been more compassionate. After all she didn't get a "Warm Welcome" when she and Blake were first Married. Joseph and Fallon were both so nasty to her.

+laminage Keep in mind, though, Dominique is claiming to be a blood relative to Blake, which is something any person, rich or poor, would (and probably should) be wary of until there's definite proof. And besides, Krystle didn't treat Dominique like how Joseph and Fallon treated her.

True--but let's not forget, at this point, she's had two parts of Blake's past come back to bite him and her: Alexis and Adam. I'd be a little mistrustful of a third part, too.

I like Dominique's lipstick/blush, blouse, and jewellery. She doesn't seem genuine when she's being mean to Alexis-- she has kind eyes like Krystle.

Krystle's intuition not to trust Dominique at this point was perceptive because Dominique later reveals to her husband Brady that she plans to take over Blake's company and mansion once she's got him to lower his defensives. Dominique was an unpredictable character at this point and was able to play people very well, but Krystle wasn't taken in by it.

At least Dominique has a lovely sister in law, compared to her ex sister in law

Except Dominque's character was specifically written as a counter to what black women at the time were usually portrayed as - she was rich, intelligent, powerful, and a central character with her own storylines. Diahann also only signed up so she could play 'television's first black bitch'. Trying to act like race wasn't significant then, and that it doesn't matter now, is ridiculous. She's black, and there's beauty and prominence in that.

Also Krystle should remember that as a Black Woman, Dominique had to work her @ss off for "hers". I remember reading Chances by the Late Jackie Collins and there was a Character named Carrie. She had such a hard life. Being the result of a Teen Pregnancy whose Mama could ahve been raped. She lost her virginity when her Uncle Raped her and sold her into Prostitution. It took her 31 Years to finally have a Happy Life. First with Bernard Dimes a Broadway Playwright then Lawyer Elliott Berkeley. She hated her son's Wife Zizi but she represented a past that she didn't want to repeat.

I always thought the introduction of Dominique was timed poorly. The way she prods and demands and boasts isn't flattering considering Fallon is believed to be dead at this time. It's hard to take her side when her adversary is mourning the loss of a child. It's like she's punching down.
