I know it's a long video but I have never struggled with an engine like I did with this one thanks for watching

It's not gravity fed, the engine is the fuel pump. Nice though, everyone loves a new engine 😁

Yes all my dynamite engines the more tanks of nitro the better they get! I stopped running all my factory TRX,s and replaced all with Dynamite .19s . Love them . Out of 10 dynamite .19 i got only one that came new with a bad carb. Needles and seals everything looked good just wouldn’t prime or run. Put an sh slide carb on fired right up. Then i ordered a new dynamite .19 carb for it. When it came in i replaced it . Have a great day guys! Lets make nitros great again. Everyone keep running rich and loud!❤😂😊

me and my dad broke in this engine about a year ago and at the start the needles were messed up. once we found the right setting it worked great, the truck runs great with this engine a year later. good luck with it!

I’ve tuned loads of nitro engines, never once have I worried about engine temperature, ambient temperature or tuning for conditions. Neither have I had to change glow plugs. The engine tells you what it needs, if it chokes out at full power then your high speed too lean, don’t worry about idle or low speed settings until your HSN is set. Have a watch of JQ racing engine tuning tutorial on you tube. It is hands down the best tuning vid on the internet. Watching that video improved my understanding.

Yeah I had a hell of a time getting mine to run good. Didn't help that the factory carb settings were so far off and the manual didn't even list the correct carb. Managed to get it to run reliably in the end and used the same needle settings on another one I bought. Second engine was so much easier. I think for base settings I did 2.5 turns on the HSN and 4 or 4.5 turns on the LSN. Then just slowly started leaning it out as I progressed through the break in. With the factory needle settings, fuel couldn't even get to the carb. Also, both leak from the exhaust outlet with the Traxxas exhaust header. I wish THS still made exhausts for the T-Maxx and Rustler since they use standard 1/8 exhaust gaskets instead of the small o-ring Dynamite provides.

It has a ths exhaust but I'm thinking it's got too big of a stinger for the .19 I have a few others to try out there will be a video on that

Also the exhaust isn't 8th scale it's 10th you would need some type of adapter fir the tmaxx to run 8th scale

Theres an air leak there guy. You haven’t messed with these very much have you? The leak is in your glow plug. I used very tiny silicone o’ring to put on the glow plug after I put the copper ring on. Fixed! These engines don’t break in like other engines. They take more time. Plus that engine needs to stay at a constant 215 for break in. Never rev your motor at all during the first 4 tanks, ever. On tanks 5 and six you run the idle just a little higher, not much and small revs like quarter throttle. Also on five and six keep the temps up, 215 like I said. After that run it on the ground and start leaning it out until you get it where you want. Then you can set your bottom end. Do what iI said on this engine and it will turn out to be one of the best, longest lasting engines you have ever had. Your inexperience really shows. People give these motors a bad name because they don’t understand them. The O’ring thing I told you about is just for this motor if your leaking fuel from around the glow plug. You should have just let it idle, not trying to rev it on the first 4 tanks. If you do everything I said with your heat cycles exactly like I said for any engine, they will last you so long it will blow your mind. Providing you know what you are doing with your tuning. Even on your 7th tank when finally hitting the road, preheat the engine. You need to let it cool all the way before the next one. This engine starts the first time every time. German designed, great engines.

@terryshrives8322 No offense to a Dynamite motor. The problem with this motor (later discovered) is the back plate is trash. And is 99% of the time the source of an air leak on a .19 . And he does know nitro.. well! Has many. Seal it up and runs good. Not sure about sealing the glow plug

Less likely to over heat during break in if doing in the cold. Some adjustment will be needed once its warm weather but thats okay.

I like what I saw but next time let people see all of the adjustments that you were making, but you’re telling the baby to stay out of focus when you don’t even have the vehicle in the frame, I’m gonna give you thumbs up for trying

@@Nitro_rc_life I have a really good tip for you especially if you like using the ez-start system. Here is the thing, keep using the ez-start to crank your engine but i'm not recommending you to use the glow igniter and the crank motor at the same time. Bc when you do that start motor almost uses the whole electric and sometimes that causing to problem which is glow plug not glowing enough to ignite the nitro inside. and solution for that, plug out the wire caming from ez-start to the glow plug. and buy a separate glow igniter and use that. That's gonna make starting the engine almost %50 easier (excuse my bad english, i'm from Germany.)
