Dynamic Time Period Comparison With Power BI

It could be difficult to analyze data for newly introduced products. In many cases we don't have lots of historical data, we don't have a plan for this year, so what can we do to provide the best possible data visualization in Power BI for our report users?
While this technique is not super difficult to set up, it involves a couple of little tricks to get it up and running and to make sure that it provides a great user experience.

Maybe the line can be replaced by two unconnected lines? Maybe not now that I think of it
Cool video. Can't you filter by measure value instead of the warning thing?

@@BILingualAnalytics you probably need a specific measure for this purpose. Make it have value 1 for the dates to be included, 0 otherwise. Then filter by measure value = 1
