A frame mounted fairing makes a world of difference, it made long trips on my FXR a lot better!

Awesome bike build , funny i have a 2011 FXDB and a 2011 FLTRX, also set up my Street Bob for longer rides i have the Krator T sport fairing but thinking about getting the FXRT like you , what brand did you get? 14:33 15:13

Awesome dude 🤘! I think the fairing would be perfect for your height. I’m 6’3” my POV camera is mounted at my chin. I have a GoPro 7, with the purple panda mic and an insta 360 x3 all links are in the description. Feel free to ask any questions I’ll try to help the best I can.

@@andrewdow4469 hey thank you so much for the kind words and for checking out the channel. I am not sure if the stock lowrider bars will hit or not. I already had these bars when I got the fairing. But if you plan on going this route with the fairing and need measurements to check for clearance reach out and I can do that for you 🤘 keep on riding and have fun!

@@ATCJeremyrides I’ll be switching out the bars over the winter so that won’t be necessary, but thank you. Question about your saddle bags: Did you get the nylon or leather? Do they hold up to the elements well? I hail from the midwest where the weather changes it’s mind frequently lol. Also, will they fit ok with the stock ride height? Thanks in advance.

@@andrewdow4469 I got the Nylon version and they do fade. There are a few companies out there that make a spray paint type thing for canvas, I haven't tried that yet. I think eventually I want to switch to leather just so it looks nice longer.

Very nice bike! Quick question: where did you find that ring from the headlight? I am searching for it for long time without any success...

Thank you for watching! That is the clear one that came with it stock from RWD! I just had my painter cut it for the light and paint it. Also TOL designs makes a version of the headlight bezel with an opening in the middle. I hope this helps 🤘

Is the wireless charger the USB one or hardwired in?

At first I did the usb one and connected it to the dongle that I use for the trickle charger. But since I wanted to run heated gear during the snow I ended up hard wiring it so I could use the trickle charger dongle for my heated gear. Quadlock has everything you need I might have links in the description but I can’t look at it while I type this.
