Thank you and glad it’s helped you . I prefer machine because 1 Can be cheaper ( depends on amount of clothes) 2.Easy , hand dye is not difficult but messy , take times 3 Colour comes more constant I did hand- dye as wool material could not use for machine. Also, if you are creative and want to make new colour and design, hand dye helps you . But I haven’t experienced hand dye enough yet.

I definitely prefer the washing machine dying

Light-coloured dyes will not change the colour of dark items. For example you can't dye a black bag with pink.

I have 2 grey shorts that got bleach stains on them. Do you think that Dlyon dye pod will cover the yellowish white bleach stains on my grey shorts?

Pots are good for changing colours of whole shorts but difficult to change some part of clothes only 😞

Hi, thank you for watching! I never try shoes so difficult say, from my experience 1 . Small parts, practice can me damaged after long washing 2. Canvases are good to dye 3. Sometimes mixed Synthetic fabric part get strange colour ( not full shade ) You can see part 2 video for details I have to say it depends on shoes 👟 Good luck 🤞🏻

hi! if my shirt is navy blue, i need to predye with what colour in order to achieve completely tulip red?

From my personal experience, navy is was difficult colour to change , def for predye and I think even with predye, it may not work. Outcome can be Brown or Gray , as you mix Navy and deep red . 😞

I'm in the process right now dying a new white denim jacket dylon "sunflower yellow" I brought the white jacket this morning and also the sunflower yellow dye washed the jacket as normal to get rid of the new finish it's now having the the dye wash I'm so very Very very pleased with how it's turning, out the washing machine is on one side of the room the TV is directly opposite as my lounge kitchen dining room is one very large room I'm spending more time looking over to the washing machine than watching the TV, I'm so looking forward to the finish it's turning out the exact shade I need I brought two packs but I'm so very happy with the one pack so I'll put the other one away for future use I'm in the UK and brought my dylon last two sunflower yellow in my local Robert dyas it's was buy one get one half price and the cashier threw in to free packs of vamoss washing machine descaler not one I've tried before . and the jacket plus some other bits was from Mark's and Spencers with a gift voucher I'd got signing up for a new broadband service back in march

Years ago I did lots of tie dye including my and several of my school friends white school blouses this was done as an after school activities I was at boarding school we were pretty much left to our own devices and trusted to just get on it it as long as the laundry room was left clean and tidy after use we showed the staff our t shirts but not our school shirts " I wonder why" and it wasn't just one of our blouses each it was five blouse per girl after breakfast the next day we went off to the laundry to collect our blouses we were so happy with our pink yellow blue and green tie dye efforts then down to the school hall for assembly our head mistress nearly had a heart attack and sent us up to our dorms to change in all five times and she couldn't believe we all did all of our blouses and oh boy did the house mistress get in trouble for not watching what we were up too for some reason we were never allowed to tie dye again and the school had to pay for twenty white blouses for all of us as our parents and guardians were furious about the lack of supervision for us

Something about listening to her speak is so soothing

It’s this permanent or will it change or fade after time and washing?

Permanent 😃 I washed several time and no fade and change. Also, first 2-3 time, we’d better to wash by hand , not washing machine just because dye colour can come out and goes into other light colour clothes. I hope this helps
