Until recently it was understood that a transperson was someone who was so uncomfortable with their social presentation that they had to live as a other gender to deal with those feelings. I think we can all agree that is not what Dylan Mulvaney is. My trans friends just want to fit in and the thought that they would call someone transphobic for making mistakes or disagreeing with them is so abhorrent to them. These days any narcissist can claim transhood. They are not only stepping on women's rights but they are sending the progress for trans people back and j feel really bad about that. You are right, but as I stated in my own post, I don't ever remember acting this foolish as a 6 year old. I mostly blame those who encourage this behaviour and especially those who pay him good money to do so.

Mulvaney is a caricature of what a man thinks teenage girls are like. Totally insane.

The trans community is not able to tell mr. Mulvaney that he is not really a woman (or even a trans woman), because their definition of a woman is someone who identifies as a woman. Since mr. Mulvaney says he identifies as a woman, they have to believe him and consider him a woman, even though everyone knows he isn't. As soon as the trans community accepts that being a woman takes more than claiming to identify as such, their entire argument goes down the drain.

Dylan is more ostentatious than most, but ALL trans “women” are NOT women, and putting on a performance. They might not see it that way, but objectively you cannot change your chromosomes, so if you’re living your life trying get strangers to believe you’re something you aren’t, then you’re putting on a performance. I also don’t believe in the concept of “ true trans”. This is not something that anyone innately is, it’s a set of actions some people to choose to take. I believe what they are now calling gender dysphoria is absolutely a very real thing that a very small portion of the population would experience even if all this gender and trans stuff wasn’t being celebrated and promoted, but that doesn’t even make a person trans. It’s those feelings that might in some cases lead some people to seek and try to live a trans identity. Dylan clear,y doesn’t even have dysphoria though. So if we are saying “real” trans people are those with intractable dysphoria, then yeah, Dylan certain,y is not in that group.

Thank you for saying this!!!! As a trans woman, who began my transition over a decade ago, there is a percentage of us who have been saying this since he took off. It’s insulting to women and people of trans experience. Genuine, lived, trans experience. Women-trans or not- don’t act like that!

It's become a lightning rod for discussing things, outside of "approved" spaces because every other avenue is closed off by accusations of bigotry. So boycotting a beer is among a handful of outlets for non-approved opinions.

The fact that sales were killed so much by a company just printing a person's face on a pack of beer that only that person received is only proof that the poor are easily manipulated. “Is it really the big issue?” I mean if a company calls their entire consumer base garbage that needs to be replaced and those individuals choose to stop supporting that company then it becomes a big issue.

I doubt this has happened before, at least not where people were actually believed to be the opposite sex. In the Victorian molly houses gay men dressed as women but nobody actually believed they were women, they were just transvestites.

He's definitely building a brand making fun of the old feminine stereotypes that most women have already discarded. He doesn't want to "become" a woman, as he's not sacrificing his male attributes for his "gender transition". The fact that political authorities are holding him up as a role model is just infuriating.

There is no such thing as a trans person. It’s a charade .

Dylan hasn’t taken a single dose of estrogen. I think he got the facial surgery because he needed some kind of physical transformation for his fans. He only did things that he can take back to being male when this grift gets old.

He seems to going through every category represented in the LGBTQ+ acronym. As I understand it, so far, Mulvaney has "identified" as gay, non-binary, trans, and now he claims to be a lesbian. He is mocking women, and the LGBTQ+ community all in one fell swoop.

Not a beer drinker myself, but yes, the Bud Lite thing is important enough to protest. That advertising campaign was a deliberate provocation, and an insult to, it's customer base. AND, if it works, the boycott can be the launch pad for getting Gender Ideology out of elementary schools.

The brouhaha about Budweiser only at lasted a couple of weeks. People decided that they would no longer buy that product or they would ignore the ads. It was a tempest in a teapot.

As a transsexual I find Dilly Dylan a complete slap in the face to any progress that's been made. "HE" is nothing but actor tik toker grifting off our community. I wish more people in my community would speak out as well.

We now live in a world in which the cosplay dam has collapsed. By that I mean that more and more people are playing out a character, dressing like the character and demanding that you accept the character much like you accepting a character in a story. When reading a story or watching a movie you must accept the characters otherwise you would not become immersed in the fiction. In the old days people played out there cosplay character at home, secret parties, then at events, then conventions, and now everyday life. The George santos thing was a gay man playing the character of a credentialed politician. The only places where you still can’t play a character is professions like medicine, engineering, etc but soon even those walls will come down and we would have to accept someone’s identity as they cosplay being a doctor etc..

They can't define "woman" so they can't define trans-woman, either. There is no objective definition. We're supposed to respect a person's self-identification as a woman, even if they've got a full beard, etc. Should we be judging who gets to call themselves trans, without any definition beyond how they identify? Of course this is confusing. Words are supposed to have meanings we can all agree on, not just be labels to be used any which way we want.
