i have 2 theories on why that room has those cages and hamster wheels with zombies in them 1 someone from the GRE or some other company that was experimenting on the virus had them there experimenting on them trying to make them faster and stronger and the cameras were to record results 2 some idiot thought it would be funny to have them run on hamster wheels and record them doing so for entertainment

The "secret room" was actually techlands answer to how the power actually works in the city.... somebody noticed the way its set up IN GAME makes powering the city impossible... so somebody realized, said something to techland about it, and techland answered with the zombie power room

It’s honestly crazy how many Easter eggs I found on my own by just playing the game.

i didn't know the raft was a reference to castaway i thought someone was trying to get out of the countryside but died in the process

When u get to the secret room there are 4 buggy paintings scattered all over the place and when u get to the éxit gate and press use will take u to trash bags, behind u there's a secret volátile nest that it's not marked on the map.

Does the mad max buggy and super shotgun have to be on PC or a certain part of the game because I was in the very spot where it showed and it was not there

Thanks this video helped and I would like to add that in the "chicken on a stick" if you use the crossbow it is a lot easier and you don't attract any zombies.

My theory where the virus started is in that secret room because Harran wanted cheap electricity so they created the virus for easy cheap energy then an accident happened and the zombies got out and harran was infected the by the virus

In that second easter egg I first saw that house playing against night hunter... And I went to check out the easter egg in the day time and the house was COMPLETELY EMPTY! i mean like as empty as it is in the video but last time there was a hanged person and alot of stuff in the house playing with the night hunter

There are 4 skins for the car in the "dveloper`s studio" location. Team Warsaw is on the cage next to the "zombie Massacre" poster and team Wrocław is on pipes in the middle of the room. But your movie is quite old so it might not be there

13:37 is an easter egg to a video they made about their game. The shirts their wearing are the companies name and the room is a nod to a video they had made with zombies on those hampster wheels and what not.

12:05 the Czesiu's Zombie Grenade is a reference to Czesio from Włatcy Móch, he looked like a zombie and Włatcy Móch is a Polish serial, and dying light is a Polish game

I don't know if it was from the alternative ending but after I have done the ending, I went back in to continue and as I was going to the safe zone at the highway to get some parts I noticed that I got 45k money. I don't know if I did something else before that but I believe it's for getting the ending.

The developer studio thing is actually a trailer called "harran power mystery" after an engineer complaint that the power lines on the following was not exact

Obviously the place with the zombies in the giant wheels was a reference to How To Survive 2. After a few quests in the game you get zombies into your bunker and they power it by running on giant wheels.

Pretty cool how all most of the easter eggs revolve around the damn, so we don't have to spend hours of driving from one end of the map to another.

In some Of the South-East sea in the Slums, you can find ExPCalibur *that's mean Excalibur* to get that EXPCalibur sword, you must swim to some rock, and find a corpse with an Excalibur stabbing on the Stomach, u must press Square for 1 minutes + to get that Sword, durability is 7, damage is 321

The last Easter Egg about aliens is a reference to the Nicolas cage movie "Knowing" (2009). You should watch it, it's a very cool movie, yet very sad too.

The techland room is actually a joke from when people complained about how the transformer generators in Dying Light made no sense. Everyone asked how the real energy was produced so techland made a video showing multiple zombie types on hamster wheels producing the energy. That's why theres cages, giant hamster wheels, a camera, techland employees, and dead zombies in there.

That last one doe (Not the Gun the Cut scene)
