The Charlie Movie is a Reference to a Side Quest in the main game where you have to get said DVD for Charlie.

Yesterday i got dying light, been playing the hell out of it, so far gazi is one of my favorite characters just because of how wholesome he is

The charly DVDs are used in the base game in one of the earliest quests called mother's day. You have to pick it up, along with other things, for Gazi, who is both insane and has a lot of medicine that you need.

the best part about the alien easter eggs, even one of the voices for the chickens knew how silly it was and broke up in laughter.

4:53 not only the car makes the reference about Mad Max but also the fact that you can find a shotgun (the only weapon you can carry around and use anytime) is also a bix part of the reference

10:38 | So funny story about this . . . me and my friend were playing Dying Light and a Nightstalker or whatever they are called started chasing us, so we hid in there and I remember him saying "Dad protect us please" while hiding behind the doll. Then we proceeded to die of laughter.

At 8:06 This is also and Assassins Creed refrence as the chest as simler engravings to the Ac Symbols and the chest resembles a chest in Ac Unity and Ac3. Also when you were walking out on the metel bar there was garbage bags underneath it resembling a haystack under a sync point where you can leap of faith.

There is actually a Walking Dead episode reference, in which Rick's group kills some walkers that were trap in a barn in Hershel's farm, and then inside of that barn was Sophia, a little girl they were looking for, but unfortunately she had already turned. You can find that barn with a screamer inside in the south part of the Following map, next to a house where you help a family that was trapped on their house.

For the 2 ditches with the blueprint you can use a crossbow so it's not loud and it won't attract zombies

11:15 the paper air Easter egg that zombie made a Tie fighter from Star Wars sound affect 😂

When you pressed the button and spawned on top of the tower, the pole where you jump off and go into the trash pile is a reference to the leap of faith from assassins creed

The house one is a reference to that "Lucius" game, where you kill that woman in the bath-tub. I can't say anything for the ghosts, however.

The last Easter egg is a reference also too Gravity Falls as the triangle is like Bill Cipher and also the spots where you put the stones are like the runes to summon or trap Bill

The Charley dvd is also mention in a quest in the original dying light where he says the movie is made about him

just went back down the rabbit hole which is this game, best story, with the best side missions, this game was my childhood, i need them to make an actual dying light 2, one which is a complete ending to the original dying light story, with all the side characters, like spike and the nurse from the og tower

The location of the Twilight Phantom sword is a reference to The Wind Waker in where the Master Sword is located in Hyrule Castle beneath The Great Sea.

My favourite easter egg is the Oh Hi Mark part

They kinda swung weapons like the animations in Skyrim. It reminded me of the house you get locked in where Molag Bal makes you break in his mace.

There were 2 holes you could throw grenades in. What was in the second hole?

11:09 could be a reference to the show “ugly americans” where a devil guy and a demon are trying reassassinate the now zombified Abraham Lincoln. In which the devil guy throws the demon (who is stuck in between dimensions thus looks like hes on paper) as a paper airplane and opens up to get an exploding like bomb kill

6:06 could be, tho how far fetched, a reference to Adventure time. There is an episode where jake, the dog, finds a box full of ice king's old home movies. Far fetched but thats what this easter egg reminds me of
