Chase one: just some volatiles nothing good just keep going. chase two: something is hunting but it’s more volatile “if you hear noise run” that what they say. Chase three m: shit is loose more and more infected starts to chase you down fighting is no use so have a lighter on you ass and move. Forth chase: now knowing your fucked in all sectors of the city you may would have think twice about going out at night. And with that “good night, good luck”

@@fntgmeur2389 i kinda disagree on that DL 1 volatiles were something else. In DL 2 you have every method of getting away and in the first one you're on foot most of the time and the closest thing to a glider is your grappling hook that can only get you so far

Ngl I miss the lv3 chase theme. The nice build up it never gets old

I love how if you listen VERY closely, you can hear the beeping noise that you're about to turn, it's also funny how all 4 chase themes play when you have to defend Hakon when the first chase happens

Yes! This is top tier editing for the chase themes. With the chase levels in order, the screams of the monster, the alert that the chase has leveled up... truly exquisite.

@@ElfinOrcTM wym? I like DL2, I just won't praise techland for the long list of f ups it's taken to turn it into a playable game. Still waiting for nightmare mode tbh because, with the skill ceiling so low, there's no real challenge in DL2 yet. Like hard mode is a joke unless I do challenge runs/ban certain weapons and skills.

gotta say, i think i like mostly the old chase theme over the new one, this one is more tense than the other, the new one sounds like more like a chill chase

level 1 - a few virals, fairly easy to escape level 2, 1:35 - even more virals, still fairly easy to escape level 3, 2:45 - volatiles come out, a lot harder to escape, music slightly speeds up level 4, 4:18 - volatiles in the quantity of virals, music doubles in speed, you're dead

Actually, volatiles start chasing you at level 1, I always believed they didn't till I looked behind me at lvl and lo behold, there was a volatile ready to rip my guts off

Sad the original is gone, but you can still here the 4th chase theme however, it just got remixed basically, and it's fucking awesome

Dbd needs to add volatile as a killer or as a skin for demogorgon (if thats ok with stranger thing creator or whoever)

Listened to this while doing my homework, and when the 2nd chase phase came on I jumped..

epic shit, 3 sounds the coolest and 4 just sounds like I'm sitting in a patch of tall grass hearing a bunch of viral grunting and feet slapping past me waiting for the flashing grey chase meter to go away

Chase level 2 is more scarier than level 4💀 Because in chase level 4 you have stress of a volatile hit you but in level 2 you get like jump scared

The 3rd level of the old theme slaps so hard. The first, second and fourth level of the remake are better

Now you see DL1 had ragdolls and felt real even as legend 149 it still scares me until I mod that candy cane then it's somewhat less scary meanwhile DL2 is just oh I been spotted well the mean things don't come out until you are at 9 anything immunity.

They need to randomise the music for chasses because honestly why not? Old one is a blood pumping banger and the other one is unnerving pants shiting banger

tbh i do chases just for fun, and if they stop catching up i just stay still for the level to go up, and once it hits LVL 4, oh boy im doing such tricks, i even stop for a few secs for them to catch up to make it more fun and i also i add the "dark nights filter" that ay im just vibing to the visuals and the music, i dont give a shit about the volatiles chasing me, they feel like spiders, scary looking but easy to escape, but sometimes they can be dangerous if you are not in a good position, and if you want to make shit even more cool, add the physics mode on and ohhhh... here is where then fun begins. you need to get used to the gravity that not FINALLY exists, and it makes the game feel more realistic and because of that you deeply fall into the game and start thinking that you are in the game ITSELF... goodluck not shitting your pants after doing this all in the settings. if someone has a toxic / bad opinion, just dont type it so that people wont hate on you in the comments if you have positive opinions, feel free to comment fun fact: im 12.

Meh i loved the older games chase music more. It constantly gives me anxiety, knowing they always are running behind, but just BARELY behind me.

I’m gonna make a training routine out of this Level 1 fast walk Level 2 medium speed jog Level 3 medium speed run Level 4 full sprint Repeat 6-10 times

I got to the point in the game where I could just mess around in level 4 and kick Volatiles asses lol

you guys have no idea what you're talking about, volatiles scale at endgame (all freeroam zeds do) so even if you're maxed at 9 they're insanely spongy (1 volatile is like 5 PK bolts to the head), plus they can either lock you into a pounce animation or stunlock with the long lunge which slices like 180 health off instantly with a rage booster it takes like half a minute to clear a few WITHOUT more spawning, and that's because they're constantly disrupting swings, in a LVL 4 chase where they're always spawning you either run or die, fighting is hopeless

@@chargepartition4175 I remember that livestream, it was like advertisation of some company and there was like a discount timer on it for like every 5 minutes. youtube is kinda funky sometimes with their guidelines :/ sorry and thank you for your channel, I enjoyed listening to the in-game tracks.
