    Best metal album (for me) of 2023. I have never been a huge fan of the band. I like their 2012 album quite a bit, but if you were to ask me what my favorite Death Metal acts are, DF did not crack my top 10 before MTBFD. Now they are top 5 for me! This album shreds you to core. The sheer amount of talent on display and the songwriting are just incredible. This really was my album of the year for 2023 and that is saying a lot when you consider that 2023 was an amazing year for heavy metal. Thank you.

    Hit the nail right on the head. There's something for everyone on this one. And I think DF upped song writing and pure dynamics of the instruments especially the guitars. Holy shit. Best album of 2023 This is right up there with Reign Supreme 37 minutes. Enters and exits leaving a bloody mess and we love it. Great job Dying Fetus!

    Very happy that you did a album review for Dying Fetus, I know that you and maybe more your son is not the biggest fan of them, specific the vocals.For me first time I heard them, I could not imagine 3 people creating so compact/sometimes complex sound, I was hooked just only for that alone. Maybe not a band I listen to everyday.

    In my personal opinion Dying Fetus are the greatest death metal band of all time. They have the sickest riffs, the most insane drumming, the slams hit so hard and the vocals are great. Also it sounds like it’s performed by real humans playing instruments. Not some overproduced rubbish like most modern extreme metal.
