Slim Jim my ass. Its like 8 riffs. 2 of which are variations of riffs already used. And sweep arpeggios for the solo part. Dont get me wrong i like DF but its not overly technical. Revocation is more like what you described. Dave Davidson has mastered the guitar front to back. Which takes years.

Definitely very difficult to perform. But no, this doesn't require theory knowledge or great composition skills to write. It's mostly just good riffs strung together.

Reign Supreme is one of the greatest extreme metal albums of our time. Dying Fetus really knows how to make brutal technical music groove very well, and these lyrics have a very sharp in-your-face criticism. They're the real shit, praise to DF for being absolute death metal geniuses.
