quick little tip if you're dying your hair: toothpaste is really good to remove dye stains on the florr and stuff like that :)

u don’t need to put foil if ur adding in the color, just use the foil for bleaching

im 3 days late but i have a tip if u wanna go purple even tho it’s tedious trust me!! dye ur hair super bright red first. try getting ur hair to about a level 6 or 7 when bleaching then put the brightest red dye u can find. THEN dye ur hair purple. i swear it’s gonna save damage if u care about that. i tried dyeing my hair purple a while back n i failed so bad because u have to bleach ur hair to a level 9 and i have curly hair n didn’t want to damage it as much. the reason putting purple over a red base works is cuz purple is next to red in the color wheel. i hope this helps someone out there :D

u don’t need to put ur hair in tin foil if ur dying it a certain color, but if you’re bleaching it then put foil

red was a great choice! super bright so it picks up on most hair, and the yellow/orange undertones allow it to pick up in less bleached hair, which means less damage for your hair as well! it’s also the largest molecule regarding hair dyes, so it will fade the quickest, which can be good if you want it to fade to an orange or pink or just don’t like it haha! i think you did really well and the cool red really suits your skin tone and the colour overall fits the vibe :)

My mom just stares at me like 👁👄👁 but then I wore an alt/grunge outfit yesterday and told me I looked good so now I wear whatever I want and am more comfortable with wearing my aesthetics (since I have multiple)...but anyways try wearing them more often and tell her that you like it. It’s your life...yeah she’s your parents but she can’t really control your likings and style

Little tip: if you put vaceline on your skin where you might get dye (forehead, neck etc) it will wipe right off and won’t stain your skin and shouldn’t have you break out etheir. Hope this helps, it came out awesome 👏
