This has to be hands down the best interview I've seen with DWade, and I've seen plenty interviews he's done where my thirst wasn't quite quenched. He was open, personable, introspective, engaging, thought-provoking, and so-on and so-on. He tackled subjects in a way that I though he would hold back on. If I don't see another DWade interview, I am truly happy with this one. Shannon did a great job of asking great questions in his own way at the right moment. Although there were times when I wanted Shannon to kind of back off when he's asked the question and not answer the question for DWade, but he did a great job overall of navigating the interview and allowing D to feel safe in that space when answering. I was watching a GROWN MAN answer those questions like a grown man should (and he looked FINE asl doing it... but I digress). Thank you DWade for your honesty and openness. I will definitely watch this episode a few more times before I've had enough. ♥♥♥

It was great until the part of his son. Sooner or later they’ll both realize the horrendous mistake they’ve made by letting him do that to himself and why? Because of the evil woman who approves of this because that’s what Hollywood does. Take notes gentleman, the wrong woman can ruin your entire life. All of Wade’s fame and money won’t be able to undo the damage done to his son. Hope sooner than later they wake up.

I'm proud of him and all he has accomplished. I like how he said it's not his place to tell Ja Morant anything but I really hope that Ja sees this and maybe reaches out to DWade or another vet player for some guidance because Ja has the opportunity to be a great just like Wade, LeBron, Kobe etc.

I must say that Dwayne Wade got another level of respect posted on his name after this interview. This man has answered every question posed to him with class and an intellect that most do not or ever had. The way in delivered his responses on every topic is just awe inspiring, the one that he handled best to me was with Ja Morant. Could not have responded better. D-Wade is truly an intelligent man, and you can see that in his level of success during and even more so after his playing career. Love and Respect this man just that much more now.

A competitive athlete will always have confidence in himself, but D-Wade is lowkey right. He’s around top 25-30 in most fans & media’s eyes, but if he didn’t have so many injuries, he was on his way to top 15 range due to his early success. D-Wade’s first 8 years: - NBA Champion - Finals MVP - Scoring Title - 7x Allstar - Allstar Game MVP - 6x All NBA Team - 3x All Defensive Team - Top 3 in MVP & DPOY in ‘08 - Gold Medal in Olympics leading team in scoring - averages: 25ppg 49%fg 6apg 5apg D-Wade’s first 8 years are very comparable to Kobe’s first 8 years. Unfortunately, it was a shorter peak than he would’ve liked. Year 9 & on, he started to decline & injuries were a big part of that. But, he still had a good sidekick star performance for his 2nd ring (22 6 5) & a solid role player performance with timely big games for his 3rd ring thanks to LeBron.

It's similar to what Wade said earlier in the episode about mistakes in life happen and it's about how you perceive and use these things to grow and how you handle yourself moving forward amidst these obstacles.
