Dwen Curry on $6M Scams, Gay Gangsters, 2Pac, Being Trans Woman in Men's Prison (Full Interview)
Ойын-сауық
In this full-length interview, Dwen Curry from "America Gangster: Trap Queens" talks about being born around the time of the infamous Detroit Riots in the late sixties. From there, she reflects back on her upbringing in the city, including the realization that she was "different" from many of the other boys in her age demographic and that they would often times pick on her.
Moving along, Dwen revisits an incident during her teens when her mother caught her getting intimate with another boy her age, who happened to be an esteemed team captain of a local high school sports team. She also shares that she experimented with a girl during her childhood. Moving along, she speaks about her uncles' role in her life before talking about her experience during the crack era in the 80s.
Elsewhere in the discussion, Dwen talks about her evolution as a criminal in wire fraud. She also revisits being the victim of a robbery at the hands of gun-wielding masked men at her home. Later in the Q&A session, she talked about making approximately 6 million from wire fraud, becoming a stylist for celebrities such as LisaRaye, and financially taking care of her immediate family members, as she established herself in Hollywood. She also talks about her past roles in shows such as "Girlfriends" and "Noah's Arc." Later, Dwen talks about being betrayed by an acquaintance who snitched on her with the feds.

Then a Jeff Dahmer happens. What someone thinks of themselves could be terrible obviously, especially if you're experiencing a multiple personality disorder. But I get the point. That skate could've murdered that boy. However doing it bcus he's trans and being picked on, it was fine I'm guessing 🙄 because him becoming a girl is more important than life itself right...no.

This interview was really good
She reminds me a lot of Big Freedia from New Orleans. Even her voice. Big Freedia is fabulous like Dwen with hair, nails, and fashions, same kind of vibe with those two as far as the androgynous, non-binary personalities. They're both comfortable with what they were born with and don't feel the need to have an SRS procedure to feel whole. I wouldn't mind seeing Freedia get interviewed, she was on a beyonce song she's a star that got charged with fraud in NO, just nowhere near the money that Ms. Dwen was getting. Dwen seems like a really cool person overall, seems like a good girlfriend to have.

I can see that's a man, but I can't tell people who to be. If she wanted me to call her Ricky Racoon I would respect that too. I'm a person that believes that you should treat people the way they want to be treated. Why should I care how anyone chooses to identify themselves? Her being a woman that started life as a boy has no effect on my life in any way. If Franky the fox was born a human but decided as an adult to buy a fox tail, wear it and asked me to call her Franky Fox all I can do is respect it. How can you expect anyone to respect your wishes if you refuse to respect theirs??
