The DW Drums DWe Wireless Acoustic-Electronic Convertible Kit is a groundbreaking instrument that elevates a drummer’s sonic possibilities while maintaining the natural feel of traditional drums. same ive been waiting about 2ish months and they still dont have my cymbals yet which is the only thing ive been waiting for for a while now :/ been super excited and they are taking foreeeever but i guess thats to be expected with such a new product and a high end one at that

This kit is mind blowing!!!! The only slightly down sides is the cymbals the impact is loud
Dude! If only I could get my wife to give the ok. Not going to happen for awhile. Lol
Gorgeous kit and great idea. they are still working out the software, probably, so thats probably why you heard the machine gunning on he hihat. With that being said, I'd still be going for a high end Roland or Efnote and saving the difference. But, this is a tremendous step and a huge release for the industry.
Game changing kit and I'm a bass player.

the only thing is wireless in my country . Maybe not for now. I will continue with cables. Thank You DW but I will maybe wait a bit longer for this one.

Yes, it still can output MIDI data and thats all you need!
That cymbals like... cheap brass starter set. You can make the surface more luxurious than that, right?
I still see and hear when certain cymbals are hit, the area the cymbal is being hit is not the natural sound, but an over hit “opened” sound. That would annoy me to no end….does anyone else hear that at time marker 1:00

When the patents for their brand of wireless expires, "copy cats" will bring the prices down, not sure why that is a problem

DW are the copycats, they bought Versatrigger wireless drums and integrated. Still a pretty cool kit but is only great to those who don’t really know about edrums. Even Hayward doesn’t know what he’s talking about, though he’s a great player

Sounds are average at best. Efnote still winning. I have a Roland and that’s better too.
Cymbals noisy, hihat not accurate, snare rimshot noisy, the library still sound a gun-machine, just the good here to me is that is wireless, good luck as engineer if the drummer wants to tour with something with just 2 outputs, another thing that is a fake argument is you can convert in DW collector? No this is by far a performance, collectors comes with true hoop.
