Another Gym that should be on your bucket list is World Strongest Man Brian Shaw's. I never realized what a passion he had for equipment and lifting history in general, but watch his very last video. He personally drove across the country (48 hours in total) to collect a set of vintage weights for his gym. He found a full set of York round head dumbbells, and a full set of York globe heads as well.

I like the old custom seated row machine he has from the university of Colorado. It has a 400 lb stack and the seat has wheels so you actually have to actively stabilize with your legs while you row. Would love to have one built like that for myself.

8:42 it's an indoor space for him, cameraman probably has outside shoes on. Chalk is chalk, it's not "dirty". Anyone that has a no-shoes home will understand this.

My "Dream Gym" is Jujimufu's gym. He has a full tour of his Gym on his channel, along with follow-up videos of additions. He has some of the coolest isolation machines, the "biggest" of the power lifting and cable workout devices, spotter benches in his Dumbbell section, a kitchen, bathroom, and laundry closet. And because he does tons of flips and tricks, he has a plyofloor and stretching devices as well. Truly awesome.

I love how this whole video was just a formal pitch to try and get a tour at the rocks gym

I've found lately that if I'm getting a headache--stress usually, back of the neck--I can do a couple sets of neck work with a band, and headache fades pretty quick. Not in all cases, and I have to catch it early. But man, it's a game changer. Started doing neck work just because of that.

Personally, I love that he has a semi tractor trailer gym with over 40,000 lbs of equipment to travel to locations with him. That means his gym has to be in working order and legal weight for weigh stations and inspection stations before he can work out, and he has to have certified drivers ready to drive wherever he goes. That's luxury, but it's also just kind of awesome: a gym rat's mansion on wheels.

I’m more impressed by everyday people’s home gym.

I built all of the cabinets in is SW ranches home and his “hydration center” in his private gym behind his home. Hell of a nice guy!

I’m not sure about the shoes in the video, but I just picked up the UA Project Rock 4 shoes. The ONLY reason I got them is because the were 50% off and my old Filas I used for years to lift with deserve to be retired. I spoke to the guy at the UA store and he gave me two options for lifting, these were actually about $20 more, but they fit much better when I tried them on. I have to say, begrudgingly, that the shoes are amazing. I’ve done leg day with them twice and the base/platform I feel while wearing them are better than any other lifting shoes I’ve used in the past. I’m not sure they’re worth $150, but I’m definitely good with the $75 I spent on them. Love what you do Coop, keep it up!

I got to see it in person it is a pretty sick gym.

The Rock's home pharmacy has got to be impressive as well.

What me impresses me about the Rock's gym, is that he really gets after it in his gym. It's not all for sure.

Training the neck that thickens the neck can can cause sleep apnea. I just do neck rotations with a towel for range of motion

Some bodybuilders in Germany have impressive home gyms. Well technically they aren’t home gyms since they aren’t necessarily located directly at their house or flats, but you could check out Tim Budesheims Eisenhöhle if you haven’t done so already.

My gym has that vertical leg press but I can’t really figure out how to get a stimulus from it. Any tips are welcomed

Totally pulling a random thought on the booties situation. There is a chance that the mats give too much grip and the camera man put them on to have his steps slide a little more for smoother video. Even tho he has a full camera rig but it's possible. Also could be that the camera guy is constantly walking in and out going to their vehicle for gear and he just wants to keep the floor clean in the gym

Used the exact same shoes you commented on. Good stability and general bodybuilding shoe but they are heavy. Would not want to go on a long run or play basketball in them.
