8:53 so imo I would say what's the reason why u had to cancel. For example booked months in advanced for Friday Sept 13 but then ur child's big opening season hockey game is that night. To me valid reason and then I would take them separately but if it's because u forgot than no u shouldn't cancel like. Also if there's a family emergency that obviously takes priority as well.

20:13 but consider the location though. These are boyh southern usa citirs so hockey probably isn't a big deal there. Also esp Carolina its bible country (despite Californias famousness for being anti Christian its actually the state with the most churches per capita or something) so it wouldn't surprise me if theres some obscure state law thats says bars close at 11pm or something

So myy question for the Vancouver man is did you do ur due diligence and raise ur daughters to be leafs fans and marry a hockey woman? If so bring the family leave mid 2 period and the next day knock the kids out with sleeping pills (parents be honest don't tell me u're not doing that on a cross country flight with kids under 3)
