Agreed, and I even like Bruiser!! However, the callous nature of that Era of the business created some RUTHLESS men. On some level, he HAD to know being an American in another Island/Nation he couldn't just blatantly punk the native Boys, without a thought. Not without some backup anyway. Had he been with a few other American shooters it wouldn't have went down, because it would have Blown the whole show out of the water, so Invader would've probably not pulled the knife as easily. It's just a dumb move imo, a decision made by a guy used to throwing his weight around (even if he was justified it doesn't matter) while on THEIR TURF.

I don't claim to be able to ' smell danger ' before it happens but one night I was in Salt Lake City for a work related class and afterwards I went to a bar with some of the people from the class. For some reason I thought the atmosphere seemed weird and just decided to head out. Didn't say anything to anyone, just went to the restroom and then walked out and took a taxi to my hotel and went to sleep. Next day in class they told me a woman came in with a handgun and fired shots at her supposedly cheating husband or boyfriend. One person got shot and wounded although it wasn't the person she was aiming for. They said ' yo man you just disappeared ' . I couldn't explain why. I just thought it seemed strange in there . Honestly I felt like the whole state of Utah seemed weird and I didn't like being there the entire time. I'm from the Midwest and not used to the mountains. Plus I'd driven for 3 days to get there and just felt worn out and far from home. I was only 22 and hadn't been anywhere far from Indiana. I like to think my instincts got me out of there

I'm not familiar with the Puerto Rican legal system but in the States they tend to select 12 impartial jurors who know nothing about the case at hand, didn't see it in the paper or on the news etc. so that the verdict can be unbiased and unanimous. From the sounds of it,the jurors in the murder trial were all wrestling fans (or at least aware of the story) so the jury pool was tainted

If he has the right sucio in there, he had a Wrestled Puerto Rico for many years. I think this is when Puerto Rican wrestling die because after that, I remember seeing El santo Baba in Puerto Rico Antonio Inoki, Fujinami of Court Brodie Hansen in a lot of Mexican wrestlers. Well, Puerto Rico used to be the Mecca of wrestling as well together with Japan, Mexico and USA!! so sorry after the death of Brody, we were never the same. Puerto Rico wrestling was never the same but if you come from the 70s 80s you know Puerto Rican used to be a hotbed for wrestling and if you don’t believe me I remember so, Bob Ellis, the wrestler the cowboy that used to come from Tennessee including Jerry Lawler. A lot of wrestlers know the history of Puerto Rico and unfortunately it’s a sad story. Very sad.😢

But I guess wrestling and street life is totally different But the thing is this killer owed Brody money and he wanted it but instead of paying him the guy killed Brody. mantell's presence at brody's murder is really suspect in my opinion. i think mantell knew and saw it all and, unlike the brave tony atlas, mantell kept his mouth shut and was rewarded with high paydays in puerto rico. mantell is the type of person who could see a person get beat to death and mantell would look the other way and tell the cops "i didnt see anything."

Do you know him personally? Because this is a weird thing to say. Even Tony Atlas has said Dutch wasn't in the room. As far as him working in PR after it happened. You go were the work and the money is.
