Now that Xing has a permanent contract, she can get a mortgage. She tells Martin. But his reaction: what a ridiculous plan!
'Heb je zin?' is a soap opera for learning Dutch, made by online Dutch teacher Bart de Pau.
In every 'Heb je zin?' episode, we'll practise 1 specific grammar rule, that is explained in the online course #dutchgrammar.
In this epsiode, we'll practise the grammar from #dutchgrammar-2, lesson 35 about the relative subclause with the word 'wat'.
In 'Heb je zin?' we'll cover grammar rules that are typically taught on the level CEFR A2/B1. The narration speed is higher than in the first 2 seasons, corresponding to the A2/B1 level.

You are providing an important contribution to soften our lock-in. Thank you for your teaching and for your humanity.
Hi Bart, I love your videos from Heb je zin. You either are a very talented person or you have the right team working with you, which makes you also very talented in finding the right people!!! They are fun and easy to understand. I am subscribed with both my KZread accounts to your channel. I watch you on my TV, therefor I cannot leave messages. I am watching you now with my other account. My only goal is to understand the language. My man is Dutch and lives on Bonaire, where I also used to live untill 2015. Now I am planning on going back to the island and nowadays Dutch language is much more spoken than years ago. Thanks!!!
Wat een leuk salaris voor Xing!!! Leuk om te zien Bart! Groeten!
Thanks so much for sharing. Your videos are the best!
Danke je wel Bart .en heel veel succes met je sumer school.ik wacht voor je nieuw aflevering , altijd 😁😍
Bedankt Bart
Heel interessant!
Remind me again what Xing sees in Martijn? He keeps proving that he's not the right man for her and that if anything, they're better off as friends!

It's obvious she's more in sync with Gianluca. Martin is an ass.

I'm really struggling when to use the correct word for 'some'. Sommige, wat, enige, iets. Can anyone help me please?

Hey, I'll try to help you. Still, I'm not a Dutch teacher, just a native speaker so this explenation probably won't be 100% complete. 'Sommige' is mostly used when you want to express that what you are talking about is only a part (of something bigger). This may sound very vague, so I'll give some examples. -Ik vind sommige appels lekker. (I like some apples.) With which you mean you don't like every apple, but just some of them. 'Wat' I think isn't completely correct in this context, but it is often used. We would use it as: -"Ik heb wat appelen." (I've got some apples.) But better alternatives are "een paar" or "enkele", especially when writing. If you say "wat" no will think it's weird though, as we use it all the time. I wouldn't use 'enige' to say 'some'. It could be correct, but I honestly never hear anyone use it in that way, it sound a little old I think. 'Iets' doesn't really mean 'some', the literal translation would be 'something'. If you want to use 'some' in Dutch, I recommend using "een paar" or "wat" (if you're talking to someone) and "enkele" (this is a little bit more formal, so it is more suitable for writing). Sommige is also perfectly fine, but can't always be used. I hope this helped at least a little bit. Again, this is only based of my own experience and maybe some parts aren't completely right, but I tried my best:) Just ask if you have any questions or if anything is unclear!
