Maybe I'll make a video of how it looks now. My tomatoes are loving it! Thanks for watching.

What your average water temps in the barrel?
@2ghydroponics157
4 ай бұрын
Day time temps in the middle of summer range from 30°c-35°c. Night time temps range from 30°c-27°c. If I am having several days of extreme heat I freeze water in plastic jugs and submerge them into the tank.

Is that one pump enough pressure for every plant, if you were at full production, and had ALL the valves open?
@2ghydroponics157

The one pump is enough for "full production". I run my full 20 bucket system every season. But no, it wouldn't be big enough if I had the valves wide open. If the valves were wide open the flow of water would be way too much. I designed my system this way to get away from using small tubes, that often get clogged, going into the plants. Also, if I ever had to remove a plant for any reason I have an easy way to isolate each bucket. Hope this helps.

1/2" schedule 40 brings the water to the buckets. I used 2" for the drain. Good luck with your project.

@2ghydroponics157 what's 40?, I'm using 1/2 tubing but my droppers keep getting clogged, I want to go pvc route on this. What type of pump are you using strong enough??
@2ghydroponics157
Жыл бұрын
Schedule 40 refers to the thickness of the pipe. The size of pump will be determined by how big your system is. I have 20 buckets and my pump is an Eco Plus 1056. It pumps 1000 gallons per hour (GPH).

@@2ghydroponics157 I have 3 buckets run by the pump and air, and 3 others just with airstone with water in, I plan to convert those with my other 3, so I like to make a good drip system with the pvc, yours caught my eye.
