Is it any wonder The Beatles were tremendous fans of Dusty. Pure talent. Just stands and delivers.
Classic Dusty! Looking beautiful and in perfect voice! Another masterclass in live performance! She was pure class!
Thank you Dusty for your wonderful songs. I just joined the Force in 1966 and heard the song You don't have to say your love me
First time seeing this performance, spectacular as always !!! Love her ❤❤❤
There's only one Dusty Springfield ~ thank you for this!!
No lip synching. Love it.
Absolutely wonderful! Takes me back to the '60s.
I still love you Dusty, R.I.P. dear Mary.
No auto-tune, no skimpy outfits (she is actually wearing modest shorts, what we used to call "culottes"), the total respect by the military audience listening to what must have been a very heart tugging song for them. A snapshot of a very different time - I remember it well. PS - Love this channel, thank you for the amazing content.
A PERFECT Voice❤
The look on their faces …🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😩
❤❤❤Dusty ❤❤❤ Outstanding!!!! Thank you
Wonderful, arms at 3 o'clock. Thanks.
This is from a series that ran though 1968. It was similar to Hootenanny in that the show was broadcast from a different military base or post every show and had a different group of artists. As you look at the members of the audience, keep in mind that the vast majority of them were headed for Viet Nam.
She was great!
Just freakin' awesome, It does not get much better than this for a live performance of a ballad. The looks on the faces of those young soldiers says it all- beauty, talent and charisma on display,
I have to wonder how many of those brave lads are still with us today.
Thank you so much for sharing this unique performance in front of American soldiers!!! The host said they’re bringing Dusty in “once again”… and humorously; so she may have perforned a song with comedic spiels perhaps… looking forward to more… Don’t you just melt with her airy singing of the word “just”

My favorite song of Dusty ❤️ love all of her songs God bless her 💗🙏🌹
About the same time as she was deported from South Africa for playing to a mixed race audience , breaking contract while on tour. Sister had Soul.

interesting The Byrds played the same year in South Africa and weren't deported. Guitarist Gram Parsons did refuse to play there so they went without him.

@@recordguy4321 But did they play to a mixed audience?
WOW!!
The look on the faces of the soldiers as she sings. They look so young. Who are they thinking of? This is one of my favorite songs. One of my favorite singers. I love her voice.
There are no words? Watching this May 1, 2024. She was my favorite female singer of all time. This song, my favorite of hers. Outstanding!
Almost stunning footage when you reflect on what those men were going through at that time.

Amazing!
It makes me sad, I feel sorry for those young lives lost. Damn the with politicians!!!!!!😢
Allot of emotions coming through the eyes of some of them soldiers.
Love love love 💕
So nice. Thanks.
I love Dusty,!!
Fabulous ❤
❤❤❤❤
Love Dusty Springfield. 💋.
Thank you military.🇺🇸
Уникальное видео. Дасти ❤
I wish you would state the date and venue of these films .
Tristeza....
One of my favorite Dusty songs. Something about this video makes me hungry for a breakfast sandwich. Too bad LBJ and the war machine insisted on killing so many of these young men for absolutely NOTHING, just like so many in the fraudulent Iraqighanistan fraud. Something the lucky BEATLES and other young Brit acts never even had to think about. Oh well, at least they got to hear Dusty!
What has happened 😮 ASIA really is going to suck 😢
I love Dusty and Petulia, but they stuck with those out-of-style hairdos for way too long!

They came back in style in 1978 with the B-52's.
