What instruments do you guys play? If you don't play an instrument, and you had the time and resources, which instrument would you like to try? During college I decided I wanted to play the tuba... I think I wanted to so that I could show CF that I can do what I'm not supposed to be able to do. Anyway... maybe someday I'll try the tuba :)

Mary's voice when she sings is amazing. It can't be easy but it's beautiful what she can get out between coughing.

Mary did really good, especially since she was playing by ear without any sheet music. I have been playing the violin for almost 12 years and, and I'm not that good when playing by ear.

You would love one of Friars, Fr. Peter he comes to Miracle on Main Street in Middleburgh NY and strolls around and plays for the kids with his cousin Sr. Anna, he also uses puppets and everyone loves him and his talents. Just fun stuff. At church he always faces the congregations and asks them to name that tune.-hymn.

Mary I want you to know this is meant as a compliment... you can sing so beautifully yet you have a disease that affects your breathing! To me that is God. Why can't it be God that is guiding you with the violin as well? He's giving you another avenue to reach people and you and Peter you do so much!! I don't think you even realize just how much you help and it's not just people with breathing diseases or disorders it's anything and everything. trust yourself with the violin but moreover trust God peace be still and hear him work through you. Sending you my love and hugs 💟

Mary did wonderfully on the violin for not playing for over 10 years. Such a good to ear to not need the sheet music.

I think you guys are adorable and remind me so much of my husband and I when we were your age. We spent many a Saturday night getting ready for Sunday services as well and are both musicians. Thank you for your openness and honesty. May God bless you both and bring healing to you, Mary, in His time.

In high school I played the flute, piccolo, trombone, altogether sax, and tuba. Speaking from experience, the tuba doesn't require as much air as one would think.

I would have to say the flute, especially those high notes. Though getting the tuba to go forte can take a bit as well.

Cassandra Wiseman, as a flute player, I’ve been told the flute generally requires more air...because we send so much OVER the hole instead of into the whole. I’ve had to do pulmonary function tests and I always score at approximately 120% of my expected capacity. Horrah for the flute!

The sunset on Saturday night was so pretty and vibrant! I was working then but I went out and saw it during my break ♥

Guys! I loved that piano/violin duet! Something about the violin made it sound Celtic/Irish. So pretty.

This whole video melted my heart, but I gotta say, Give Me Jesus at the end brought tears. Be thou my vision was close, but seeing the two of you playing and singing Give me Jesus really brought the emotions. And then on course laughter with the little "black key" ditty! 😊❤️🙌🙌

Thank you for taking us on that little drive. I used to live in PA yearssss ago... I miss the trees.. beautiful and thick next to the roads. I LOVE your voice Mary, that song you sang was beautiful!! Your violin playing is also beautiful!! (ahhh a beautiful theme to my post lol) I played the clarinet from 5th through 12 grade.. I still have it after all these years and just took it in to be cleaned and all the pads replaced. My son is in 5th grade band and he chose clarinet. We found one at a yard sale a few years ago and when I had mine fixed up, we fixed up his.. I enjoy playing with him and teaching him the different notes. I have played violin for 39 years. ( I started playing when I was 2.) I studied violin in college in my undergraduate work. I majored in music performance. I've played everywhere including church and even the governor's house in Topeka Kansas when I was younger (2 years old). I haven't played as much as I'd like in recent years due to breaking my shoulder at work two years ago. I play a lot of instruments but my main instrument is violin. Hi guys! I love your vlogs. While I don't have Cystic Fibrosis, I have Asthma which is another lung disease, and I can relate to you some Mary. You do amazing on the violin. I was at a camp one time and there was a guy playing a violin and he asked if anyone wanted to try it. I did and it sounded like a crazy cat 😂 lol! Thanks for all the laughs Mary & Peter! :)

I've tried lots of different instruments, piano, viola, recorder, flute (major fail), but none really stuck. Then I joined my church's handbell and chime choir. I fell in love! We used so many fun techniques, and we mixed chimes and bells and used mallets and it was my favorite. I miss the handbell choir so very much. Mary, you played and sang beautifully. Jesus shines in you, you do not hide your light, and I thank you for your amazing Faith that you show us all.

That music was so touching. You would never know it had been ten years Mary.

For my 21st birthday my parents are sending me to America. I just want to sing with Mary and Peter. That's my goal at the moment. Two things that make my day brighter

It is wonderful that you have music in your life. It can be sooooo healing. I have been blessed with music in my life. I have played many instruments in my life, but the one I had the most training on is the ‘cello. I had to stop playing in public about 5 years ago because of problems with my hands. 🎶🐾🎶🐾🎶

I'm impressed that after 10 years you play that well. I play the guitar currently but when I was in middle/high school I played the clarinet for marching band and 1st chair trumpet in concert band, haven't picked either one of those instruments up in a very long time. I'm not sure if I would be very good at either now lol

And yes, I did play 2 instruments pretty much at the same time lol. Concert band was during the school months and marching band was during the summer. We played typical music you'd hear during marching band but we played all sorts of music in concert band. For example, low rider was my favorite piece I ever learned!

Found you when looking up "grooming standard poodle". We picked up our new puppy last night. Absolutely love you 3! Watching with my 13 year old daughter. What an inspiration!

I’ve done years of piano, some violin, four years of trombone and three of flute but that’s the only one I still play from time to time, I’m hoping to pick the violin back up this year but I have to buy one first
