I had almost forgotten about your channel. Glad to see you and the 1960 dodge is still around.

I remember a church lady had one of these back in the early sixties when I was a little kid. She could barely see over the steering wheel. My Dad used to say she sat on a stuffed hard pillow back and seat, and put blocks on the brake and gas pedals. Her husband died she had to learn to drive herself and this was their car.

In the past there was a commercial that said “put a Dodge in your garage.” That was way back when radio was the only entertainment for the home.

I wonder if that noise was the clutch possibly sticking after sitting?

Nothing like the sound of a Slant with loose tappets. I had a ‘60 Seneca 4-door back in the day with the same drivetrain. I currently own a ‘61 Pioneer with the same drivetrain, also a stripper with radio delete. That delete plate looks better than the radio, IMHO.
