This will be an epic fight. Two legends getting after it. This is what the BMF belt is all about. Putting fights together that everybody wants to see that wouldn't happen if it relied on the championship belt alone.

Haven't been hyped for a fight like this in a long time. Also, one of the very few fights I can't pull for either guy. One of those rare fights you know you will get an absolute barnburner. May the best man win, both are legends.

So good to see the class and respect coming from two straight killers.

It's like they're ' completing each other's sentences '. You can see the respect they have for each other, no trash talk needed still this is gonna be a banger.

Justin gaethje and Dustin Poirier are absolutely two of my favorite Fighters. Whoever wins, I will be so happy for them. Whoever loses, I'm going to feel sad for them. One thing is for sure though. Feel weird about this fight, I like both of them equally and don't want want either of them to win/lose . Truly two of the finest fighters that ever lived.

I don't want either of them to lose. I'm worried gaethje may even hang it up if he loses, knowing how hard it will be to make a quick case for a title shot in the short amount of time he has left. We'll see though.

I am exactly the same. I love Dustin poirier but I don’t want to see gaethje retire. Petrified but excited for this fight

Yup. Whoever wins this is definitely getting the title shot after the Beneil vs Charles fight.

Gonna be a sick fight! First fight was legit and Dustin came out on top but 5 years later let’s see how this goes 😤

2 of my favourite fighters going head to head makes me wish nobody loses. I'll be happy for either fighter but I'll be sad for either fighter too. That's the thing about this sport.

The problem with the lightweight division is that there are so many fights where you want both guys to win. Gaethje vs Poirier, Gaethje vs Chandler, Chandler vs Tony, Chandler vs Poirier etc etc

That’s not a problem at all.. If you like a fighter for his fighting skills, why wouldn’t you want them to fight each other? Even better if you like both fighters..
