It doesn't matter. Even fresh musang king smell like onions to most Americans. There are some malaysians who hate durians too

My wife is not Asian. Both my wife and kids won't let me even bring a Durian home. Honestly, I did once and everyone thought we had a gas leak in the house.

We have a place here in Fresno CA that serves nothing but Jack fruit. First time trying I was skeptical, second time and I was hooked. They have a ton of dishes, my favorite are the the Jack fruit tacos.

To cut the durian you MUST follow the lines in the husk. I do that and never goes wrong.

Yeah follow the lines. The durian will have brown thin lines.. Those lines will guide u where to cut.

The price tags were a bit scary but for the love of durians, it is worth every bite, regardless musang king or not. Plus, it's a long drive. Here in Kuching, Sarawak currently durian sellers put a price tag of $2.50 for 3 durians (Local durian).

Bro you do not cut the durians. You just got to open up the lines at the bottom edge then twist your parang and then use your fingers to get into the open up lines then use force to open up entirely 😂

now seeing logesh kinda wanted to be fulltime youtuber.. kinda wanted to see you guys doing collab with REACT media on people vs food..they based in CA,burbank..they tried the indonesian food,not sure what,but some kinda if even possible..but its 5 hours+ drive,so i wont be expecting anything with logesh recent video updating life's there..but it kinda cool to widen the audience in some way..

You usually open durian from the end bit where it splits. From there you should try to use your hands as much as possible to open instead of knife through out. First split it to two halves and then use the base of your palms to hold both sides of each halves to open up the segments.

We only buy prepacked durian in Sydney Australia. A whole frozen Thai durian is about A$18/kg. Frozen whole Musang king can be around A$30/kg. It's too risky to pay close to A$100 for a whole frozen if no good.

I’m also from Bay Area! They have them at 99 Ranch market, at some lion, supermarket locations, and H Mart. I don’t know if they have them at Marina food.

Son - Dad, we want to buy this DVD. Me - OK (I faced my daughter and I asked her) - How about you. She - (crisp), dad you did not hear what ‘A’ said “WE” want to buy this. - You always talk about “Affordability”, so we would share & save. Eighth grader decided his career path and focused, started with a summer job in Pharmacy, a 10 hrs a week volunteering in a hospital, during under-graduation studies. A full fledged ER doctor, to follow his passion of medicine, living on beach, high flying the world All because ER doctors are not tied to the patients, they may have flexible shifts ( including many nights), But free time is their own, no emergency call when enjoying in Spain or any where else. I don't think the one your buy stated as musang king is the real one. Musang king seed usually small relatively to the pulp size. But the one you showed to us look like the seed is big.

On the skin of the Durian there's like a few long line ..U cut on the line then U will have a perfect cut of the durians..btw I m a Malaysian lived in Kuala Lumpur a Kampung girl from State of Johore so Durian is everywhere in my Kampung

What is a Dorian?

I have bottomless stomach for durian. So, I can't just have a taste of durian. It will make me suffer more than if I don't eat any durian at all. But good for you. 😊 It is very fortunate for you guys to have rambutan in that condition.

The one that not very nice, you sbould cook it in a santan and evoporated milk, here called bubur durian, or others called pengat durian. I can share you the recipe
