On Christmas Eve my wife hands me an envelope...my Christmas gift. Inside is a letter telling me how much she loves me and believes in me and us, we've had some hard times with health and just life. Also inside the envelope are 2 tickets to see this amazing band live. Man was I blown away. 2 things hit me hard at that moment...#1..I'm so blessed to have such an amazing wife and best friend, she knows me. #2 I'm so happy that Durand Jones and the Indications are being recognized and appreciated. I grew up in L.A and I thought man... they'll never come over here. I live in a small town in Arkansas now...but on March 5th 2020 I'll be with my wife watching them perform. Aww man I can't express how excited I am. I would love to shake their hands and let them know how their music has gotten me through hard times. God bless this band. I wish them only the best.

When he takes of his hat...I get goose bumps man. So much raw emotion. I was blessed to see them play before this Covid-19...last concert we went to. Thousands of people man, all kinds of Bands at the Art Labor Show. Everybody was there for them though. It was obvious...everybody went nuts, singing along. Awesome.
