@@cockney he got it back with the help of a vocal therapist. sounds very fatigued here so def no autotune. I saw them in June of 23 and he sounded much better. a few flaws here and there but at least it showed he was doing it for real

no autotune i dont think ,saw em live a few yr ago and part of the live experience is the odd note and mistake,im a musician and in these days of technology i think the hardest job is singing/frontman and i like the fact he gets out of breath and sings a bit out of tune because he should ,he's a human being and getting older ,,he did a fantastic job when isaw them in scarborough and he had a nose bleed on stage which was funny as he referenced it wasnt what we thought it was!..tee hee ...ffs playing live is hard ....i imagine a lot of the comments are from people who have never stood on a stage and played live with all the complications it throws at you whilst doing it...i say good job Simon x

If I may, his voice not only has remained the same, but it has improved!! I was a Spandau fan, but I have always appreciated Duran Duran. Those were real singers.

Man that band is still number one! Simon's voice is fantasique!

When you consider The Beatles called it quits after 8 years, Duran's career of 40+ years of continuous NEW great music - is remarkable. Nothing stops them. May they continue forever.

They split their money equally from the start, and so there was no arguing over money, which has been the death of great bands. This made it easier for the original members to reunite in the early 2000s.

Bands will always be ageless but rarely does a lead singer sound so. So is the voice of Simon. Ageless. Hasn't missed a note in almost 40 years. Priceless.

The idea for the song came from video director Russell Mulcahy, who wanted to make a full-length film based on the surreal 1971 novel The Wild Boys: A Book of the Dead by William S Burroughs.

Seems kind of sad the today's computer and tech capabilities have kind of kneecapped some young musicians into a robotically clean and perfect box for musical creation. It feels like new music doesn't breathe and is missing that human feel. Too much auto tune, not enough musicians playing instruments themselves instead of sampling. Long live musicians, songwriters and players that master their instruments and collaborate with other musicians to create lightning in a bottle. Duran Duran has stood the test of time. Good music is timeless.

After watching bands this old I usually need to go "cleanse my palate" and look up shows from their prime to remind myself how great they once were. Not so here... homies are f* relentless. Still clear, strong, energetic, tight asf, and thrilling. Did not bloody see that coming 😲 _And_ Simon still has his upper register and projection woo hoo. The hard work they put in to stay this good is obvious. Mad respect, wild boys 👐🙏

Duran Duran and U2 are 2 bands that every band should emulate. Longevity, greatness and just F N cool!

Duran Duran is my #1 Band in the 80’s , they are still awesome and voices never changed. Watched their concert in San Francisco Chase Center recently 9/4. It’s phenomenal! Everyone is having fun, singing and dancing to his music..

Even when it goes momentarily a bit wrong: "Live Aid springs to mind. Over at the JFK Stadium in Philadelphia, two famous British bands suffered a nightmare-Duran Duran and Led Zeppelin. And with the former it concerns singer Simon Le Bon and his “bum note”. Hooray! The song in question is A View to a Kill, the band’s 13th single that was released on 6th May 1985. It was written to support the eponymous James Bond film out that year. It was a big hit, so it was a natural choice to include in their set. That's the thing though, they've never stopped being a band. Broke up and had a few different iterations, but making music and touring almost constantly since the 80's. I've seen them 8 times - 3x in the 80's, 2x in the 90's, 1 in the 00's and 2x in the teens (if that's what we're calling them lol) 😎

Same here. Headbanger and DD fan since the 80's , too. And most of my "brothers of metal" love DD also. of course, it's quality recognised. Sad they rarely play my favourite tune, The Seventh Stranger (not The Seventh Son🤭)

Just saw them in Chicago 2 days ago and they were way beyond expectations. Their energy was incredible.

Wow, Simon's stamina for his age is impressive. His voice still has his unique, clear tone. The others have all gotten better and better on their instruments over time, and together they sound great! I wish I could go to one of their 2022 concerts. I was in my 20s in the 80s and DD is one of the top bands in the soundtrack of my 20s. The wild boys still rock!

Duran Duran is my favorite Band, I was 18 years old at that time, bought an original tape from U.S. Now I am 56 and I still love them..

These guys were our teen heart throbs. I never saw them in concert until 2022 Loved their music then and amazingly now. They sound terrific. This was definitely on my bucket list and I'm glad I went. Fabulous!

Just Amazing!

You can see that Simon, John, Nick, Roger (and yes, Dom) STILL love playing these songs and this concert is a celebration of the ongoing history of Duran Duran. They aren't just an "Eighties" band (and for that matter a "Nineties" band") - they are still relevant, they still make great albums, even though they only make an album every 4-6 years. Their new music is still fantastic. I bought "Carnival" in 1982 and have bought literally everything they've released since then. I can't imagine listening to music without having this band in my life.

I saw them in Birmingham, England last week - it was basically this exact set list and stag design. They were great- Simon's singing was strong and the band were all really tight. I didn't realize until now how much John's bass really drives their sound.

I’ve seen every Duran Duran concert in Atlanta since 1984! They were my first love 💕 and have always been my favorite boys 😊

Simon is still fucking fantastic. Loved them since the 80s. Seen them many times live over the years, and I'll keep going to their concerts until they stop or performing or I die.

Been a fan of Duran Duran since 1983. Have all their Vinyl LP records locked up in a closet mixed with Madonna original earlier works 😂. I was about 100 meters away on one of their concerts in Mohegan Sun a few years back; still the best!! The instruments used are locked in a time capsule. Every time when I hear that certain song. I knew where I was as a teen while the tune played. One word: “Stay handsome” and play on; keeping that dream alive!!

Older yer more amazing than any of todays so-called music, this is pure talent..

Just no stopping these guys……..UNBELIEVABLE!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

One of the most underrated bands ever! They're Absolutely Fantastic Musicians. Still gives me goose bumps to listen. Simon's voice is epically unique and so beautiful! This Vid is Great! Thanks for posting!

My favorite band ever.

this is beyond amazing.... super performance from the whole band, especially Simon Le Bon, wow simply wow... I love the old songs Friends of Mine and Hold back the rain.... this is the music of my childhood (in Union of the snake Simon asks how many remember Duran Duran from 40 years ago, I am one of those who remembers and loved the reflex and union of the snake from 1980s first playing on the radio........ this Band is so good, wow. May they keep on rocking..... so happy to see this... will go to seem them live if they ever come back to Dubai.. I attended their live show in Abu Dhabi back in 90's it was magical. It was amazing to see the whole band still got the sound, vocals, energy, charisma and star power which was captured on film on "as the lights go down"... super sound quality also in 2022.... much respect to Duran Duran ! These are true rock and roll stars. John Taylor is one of the greatest ever bass players ... Nick Rhodes is a genius with the keyboard, those sounds are so good, Roger Taylor wow that rhythm section with JT, Simon's vocals are ageless (how does he do it?). Tom Brown lead guitar, the saxophone player and both the backing vocalists are so good too.... wow. 40 years !!!!! How many bands can sound, perform and look this awesome after 40 years?

I can't say enough about "Invisible" in this show. I know that bands who have been around for decades, and feel pinned to their hits, always love to perform their new stuff. But even given that, Simon has that playful/wicked look in his eyes that made early DD videos so great, and the band is tight and jammin'. It's like performing this song took 35 years off these guys. This song, along with Anniversary, to my ears are the best examples of DD music extended into the present; and it's great to see the band's energy, and especially Simon's flashback-to-the-80's delivery. I may not like Future Past as a whole, but when these guys get it right, they are AWESOME.

Invisible, for me it's the catchy song from Future Past. Due to Rachel O'Connor performance, I've been loving "giving it all up" more and more 🙂

Come undone, still one of the best songs ever ❤.

I felt in love with them the first time I heard planet earth, and still love them today. Its like I know them all of my life. Everytime their music plays...I'll sing and dance and jump along ❤❤❤

That backup singer, Rachel, is absolutely stunning!
