Quite interesting. Without my glasses, the red letters are definitely more bold/clearer. This means that i have myopia.

Yeah.... You need to check your vision and Refraction.

Well explained. but at 2:45 run time, you mistakingly said we add +2.5 instead of saying +0.25. please correct it. This may mislead freshers. Thanks

In the text, it is mentioned 0.25D. It's not possible to change the voice now. There even an example, hope everyone will understand.

▪️For pure astigmatism (without any spherical power), this test is not required. ▪️If any patients is having astigmatism with spherical power then you can do this test. But first you have to correct astigmatism then go it...

Then Duochrome Test won't be reliable.

Sir, can we do both for myopes and hyperopes for this test? Is this reliable with more than -0.75 or +0.75?

Yeah, We can do this test both in Myopia and Hyperopia.

If the patient has spherocylinder power then first we have to correct cylinder power then we can do Duochrome Test to identify spherical end point.

It's not mandatory for all. We do this to the patient when we find someones accommodation is fluctuating. There are several methods for selecting final prescription. Duochrome is one of them. Don't worry
