When I was 10 my Girl Scout troop was invited to Dunkin Donuts to learn to make them. I absolutely loved the experience and never forgot it! I think I would like to try the bacon and the omlette bites. Their strawberry dragonfruit refresher is my favorite thing there and worth the drive just to get that!

In the old days in the south, deep fried foods (like fried chicken) and bbq was considered a special occasion food and not common. People mostly ate Lima beans, grains, boiled veggies and small portions of pork rations, etc…. Looking at video footage of people in Memphis in the 1950s, most people were thinner.

Normally I am just there for the coffee, but avocado always draws me in.

Hope you two are having a Happy New Year’s Day! I miss those days back when Dunkin Donuts was basically just a donut and coffee shop. I don’t eat many donuts and I got really sick eating a sandwich from there . But thanks for the memories of back in the day. ❤

I love that John always takes a bite of the good stuff for us, I'd love that Donut, but out here in So. California the donuts at DD's are not made in house so they never taste very fresh to us, but that's OK because if I could get the fresh stuff I'd probably want to eat it all the time. I'm going to try some of these later. This morning I had a $6 credit that was about to expire and got my favorite turkey sausage sandwich and a donut. Should've gotten the brownie batter but stuck with the typical Boston cream. I really liked the omelet bites when I tried them last year, so I'll get them again. Sad to hear the biscuits were dry. The app is offering a lot of these things for free if you buy a drink.

I buy individual avocado cups and make my own avocado toast. I sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning on top. Not a real fan of their donuts but I do like their coffee which I can't replicate at home.

Donuts just aren’t once what they were and, they just don’t taste the same as they did in the early days, even the shops don’t smell the same, it doesn’t smell like a bakery!

That’s everywhere, remember we’re in a new era and, nothing taste as good as it once did back then, including Dunkin Donuts! Aka/ Everything taste like 🤬 and the stores, bakeries and restaurants don’t smell the same when, you walk- in, it smells like 💩 because, people now take the lazy way about doing things now, no one doesn’t do what’s considered actual work!

Something we didn’t say in the video was this was the first time we ever ate anything except a donut at Dunkin. We would probably not make this our first choice on eating out even though a few items were very good. The donut was amazing.
