$35 is steep for borderline Tupperware. It certainly is a cube and more interesting than most cubes, though.

I view this as a massive missed opportunity to include functional accessories. On top of that they wasted the plastic making the unusable ones.

@@siddharth1069 weapons that are useable, like can be held by figures. The ones they gave are all flat and one sided.a few like the bow are passable but just make a full regular weapon and have it snap in.

@@joec1060 the axe are pretty good too imo. And one just needs creativity to work with these , there's like a lot of cool accessories from this set that we may never even get with action figures

@@siddharth1069 well that's my gripe here now ain't it. We aren't getting good accessories with the figures and this opportunity to put out a handful of cool things they wasted by squishing them all. SOME of them are useable but most look awful. With this cube being so expensive for a CUBE, I can go buy a ton of cool accessories on AliExpress for $15. You also have a bunch of smaller companies putting out really cool accessories that people are willing to pay $10-$15 a piece for. And by "companies" I'm assuming most are just a couple bozos with a 3d printer, some spare time, and a love for figures. Bozo as an insult to Hasbro, not the artists specifically. You'd think if someone can use their spare time to put out awesome stuff like gridironstudios, a multibillion dollar company could put something better out.... Sorry, long rant. Just very put off of Hasbro ATM. Everything they touch seems to be tainted by greed.

I like the Bag of Holding, and the floating figure effect is better than I was expecting, but it's still far lower quality than I was hoping for. I can't justify paying that much for something like this, especially after the OGL debacle. Thank you for reviewing this so that I knew what to expect. Their decision to make plastic-free packaging, while good in concept, is a bad decision for people who want to see the quality of the actual product before purchasing the item in question. Been seeing a lot of reviews, particularly of the D&D cartoon action figures, of the toys coming broken in the package, the wrong toys being shipped in the wrong box, stiff joints that snap when you try to pose them, etc.

I was kind of hoping for a cube made of actually gelatinous material *sad face*

I am a totally blind collector, and after watching, how much fun you had putting this thing together, now, I am worried, L O L. Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out when I get mine. Yes, kitty cat can be quite a handful when you are opening action figures. Mine are always interested in the boxes and the inserts and any accessories they can steal away from me.

I just purchased this and it is needlessly complicated to put together, it essentially is a box with a hole in the bottom center and it is an utterly bizarre setup. It is clear how to do it to an extent but the design IMO or with the one I have makes it seem if the dimensions are off. I got it together but I had to force the correct parts into place - even the piece that holds the figure into the bottom hole.

Can't wait to watch it, I hope, if the movie is a success, that it expands to Forgotten Realms (Drizzt), Baldur's Gate (Minsc and Boo), Ravenloft (Strand) and Dragon Lance (Asmodeus and Vecna). :)

Considering the nature of the first frizzt novels and it's core themes... And the current time we are living in media/Hollywood it's highly unlikely they will do anything with drizzt. Drow are the black evil counterparts to surface elves... I honestly can't see that appearing on big or small screen without a crusade against it happening by a certain group of people.

It’s marked down now. It’s pretty ok decent not the best accessories. The skeleton parts are horrendous. And the mystery armor part, what’s that about? Lol. Anyways it’s $16 bucks now.

I have one I haven’t opened yet but I will. I just don’t know if I should get another.

I did the sme damn thing with the bottom piece. Was driving me nuuts. I watched this video specifically to see if I was doing something wrong or it Hasbro sent me a bad cube. :)

Where they have the clip in for suspending a figure is perfect for wiring! You could do those thin lines of lights they stick on milk bottles and stuff for outdoor lightning!

Interesting I find the new hasbro d&d figures and sets odd but cool and interesting, something new besides black series and marvel legends, I'll probably wait until it's on sale

This goes for 45 bucks on most online sellers... Wtf now that I see it "live" it's waaaay worse than I thought

They're showing up at target and circle and redcard discounts apply to it. All said mine came out to just a little over $20. Well worth it. Have the masterverse she-ra and the new dnd cartoon diana in it. You can fit diana's leg through the shield hole and if you heat and ease her head off there's enough clearance between her hair and shoulders you could have her head sticking out too. The peg is VERY tight so make sure to give it some heat. Was really surprised that there was enough space for two figures without it looking stupid. Finally, the top panel is a smidge clearer than the sides and if you make good use of the stand and the pegs you can have it turned to have the top forward and the stand practically disappears. Looks like they're really floating. You also can just kind of lean the top on it to close it and not have to worry about messing it up snapping it fully shut.
