It's really nice to see someone experience being new to this game and learning the tricks and ways of the game while playing, as many of us did when it first came out. Good job, it's super fun to watch!

I loved to get all 4 magic-classes. If you upgrade to level three you unlock the "mass" spells. You only can get them that way. And resurrect is permanent if you have level 3 earth magic. That and wisdom and you are nearly unbeatable.

Homm I campaign: Simple but interesting Homm II campaign: A good balance of simplicity and intrigue Homm III campaign: A complicated and well written storyline Homm IV campaign: I am probably reading more than playing Homm V campaign: sometimes I feel like I am playing homm 3 in 3d and with videos every now and then

Certain structures and upgrades are locked out due to campaign/map constraints.

This is the Complete version via GOG.com. This is basically my first time playing the game, so just getting a feel for it.

this campaign sucks, I could never beat it as a kid, and therefore couldn't beat the rest of the campaigns (because they only unlock as you complete the others). It's really the final map that sucks the most because of the time limit and the garrison you have to fight through to get to the town you have to capture. Honestly, if you get through this campaign and are still having fun, the rest of HoMM3 is better and way more enjoyable, plus you get to the fun factions like Necromancers and Wizards
