They showed a lot of the WOW scenes in the trailer to get a broad audience, and some of the key personal relationships for everyone else to appreciate and ponder, but they left a lot of the story for you to fully discover. You should absolutely love this movie.

They know what they're doing. Need those "wow" scenes to fuel the hype engine but the story and characters will not disappoint.

Watching dune part 2 on a imax screen is a must!!

This film literally couldn’t come out any sooner. ❤

I really loved this trailer and am very impresses on this version of Dune. Feyd is ferocious, yet sleek in comparison to The Beast. The bald look is in contrast to the book, but fits in this version. He is Paul's opposite. The lack of hair mirrors the lack of vegetation and life on Giedi Prime. Can't wait to see this!

I think it was very fresh. This is the future humanity living as a massive Imperium, it makes sense that different humans would adapt to different planets and developt super different cultures. Its very on point to the later books.

The conclusion to Paul's story in this adaptation will be the sequel DUNE Messiah.

@@SGReactions That's okay. If you haven't yet, I'd suggest reading Dune. The rest of the series written by Herbert are also really good. I'd stay away from the prequel books written by his son and Kevin Anderson.

The only issue I have with part 2 is Florence playing Irulan. She doesn't match the description of her from the book at all (tall, long blond hair, green eyes and statuesque). Irulan's looks are a factor in the books. Florence is a great actress, but she's short and her look is wrong. Also I know it's a design choice, but the Harkonnens all being bald is off. They have copper/red hair and it's a plot point in the books pointing to relationships. Emperor Shaddam IV has reddish hair too in the books. He's not as old looking as Christopher Walken appears to be. All small things that I'll take if the movie is as good as the first one was.

-but she has regal voice. -they do away the ginger hair of harkonnens and make them bald and sinister in this adaptation. -They also change Chani's character to be skeptical of paul's actions. -Even the visions of part one. -the events in that film compared to the books are rearranged. I'm fine with the changes tbh.
