I decided to bring in the year with a Dune tribute. Undoubtedly one of the best films I watched in 2021. Getting to see it in the theater was truly an incredible experience. Denis Villenueve keeps proving to be one of the top directors today. The journey of Paul Atreides in the desert is just beginning.
I don't own anything used in this. Thanks for watching.

So disappointed that they dropped half of this litany for the remake.

The greatest theme of dune. Is that while fear is the mind killer love is the life giver. Paul’s mother loved the father so much she bore a son not a daughter as the Beni wished. Paul falls in love with a freemen and this instills him into their culture.

@@noabricot8679 The story of Dune is about the horrors of destiny and trying to escape humanities self destructive tendencies. Love in the Dune series, or rather, radical devotion, is part of the warning of Dune, which is to be wary of charismatic leaders and heroes.

@@syndromeofadowns extremely bad comparison Hitler led his terror and encouraged it Paul didn't, he led the tribes but the religion they created around him was so strong he couldn't even stop them There was a reason he wanted to die
