I've never watched part one but I, 10 minutes ago, randomly got invited to see Dune Part 2 in two hours, so I'm doing my homework.

@@swankscabinet1625 got out of the movie 30 minutes ago, and I have to say, for someone who had adhd and also hadn't seen the first movie, I really enjoyed it. I think that just goes to show how well made the movie is. I think some of the cinematography was fantastic, even just the scene of Timmy's character talking about the futures he sees and the path he sees to go down while moving his hand was really well shot and really captivating. The action scenes as well were very captivating. I have to say, I'm quite shocked about how much I enjoyed it.

The original David Lynch Dune was pre-internet. I’m a Boomer that saw it at a theater. I could see people not getting it all around me, and i couldn’t blame them.

This is the best recap of Dune Part 1, by far. Knowledgeable, just the right amount of time and info. No silly gimmicks. Thank you.

First I noticed how it's a 27min long video and in this era of doom scrolling, damn... But seriously, didn't realise how the 27mins just flew by. Amazing video!!! Such passion!!! BRUTAL!!!

I’ve read Dune over my entire reading life. Read it first when I was 10. It has changed meaning for me every time. I’ve always learned something new every time.

Tomorrow (2 March 2024) I am going to watch Part 2, this explanation was profound and I am very excited. I love the LOTR and this reminds of that trilogy to a lesser extent.
