Duncanville Basketball Star Anthony Black Stays Positive Despite Ongoing Legal Battle Over Eligibili
Duncanville’s Anthony Black is the only one of the top 20 seniors in the nation who hasn't chosen his college, but the bigger question is whether he get to finish his high school career on the court.

Duncanville has been stripped of their 21/22 Texas 6A championship due to Anthony Black playing while technically ineligible. Coach suspended for 22/23 season.
so what if a kid moves for athletics it doesn’t matter if it’s better for their career
I been watching Duncanville ballislife videos and he’s always caught my eye never knew he was in this trouble bro can hoop wish nothing but the best to you my guy
The only reason this is a big deal is because of the coach. People do this all the time. I bet if it was the other way around, you could hear a rat pissing on cotton -Not a word!

It's different when its a nationally ranked player transferring to the 1st rated national team
not trying to stir shit up here - but the UIL itself is garbage. I love the playoff systems and so forth - but when it comes down to rulings, they're all over the map on this kind of stuff. I mean just from the 50k ft view here we all see that the dad "his father" is the head coach at this school. They moved closer to a job he was ALREADY employed at. So then where is the issue here? I could totally see if he had a family and was moving to a home with foster parents just so he could go to school there for the ability to better the team. Then that's crap. In this case it's so clear cut it's beyond belief - wake up UIL... pull your head out of your ass. Let the kid play - not only has he done nothing wrong, neither has the family. It's as clear cut as can be.

This did not age well....bye bye state title
Anthony Black still came out a winner, boy went top 10 in this years draft, and hes ballin out in the summer league.
WPS!!! Welcome to the Razorback Nation! You have joined one hog wild family. So glad you will be on the Hill this next year!
People move to a better school for their child all the time. I don't get why this is a problem. Let the kid play. Good grief. I had a friend who's parents moved to a better neighborhood so she could go to a school that she had a better chance at getting a scholarship from than then where she was going before. She ended up getting not only the scholarship... But she got a job offer from IBM. It's what you do to get your children the best start in life that you can. Stop trying to run people's lives.

UIL prohibits it. There are private schools you can transfer too to play sports, but it's concidered unfair for public schools

You said it yourself, the parents moved to a better neighborhood, that's allowed. What's not allowed is to attend a public school that's not assigned to where you live. This has been the case for many years now. If you don't want to move then just go to a private school. Easy peasy.
He committed to Arkansas
Got stripped 😅😂
Woooo PIG SOOIEE!!! This kid was wronged, but he will play a year in college, then get some massive NBA contract. Black wins in the end.

WPS!!
The UIL ruled the kid ineligible because he transferred for athletic purposes. The UIL is the governing body of high school sports in the state of Texas. This is called cheating and Duncanville's no stranger at that.
This kid isn’t even that good

It’s not Hatin ! I’m giving my opinion on his game not him as a person! I understand he is a good player with god given talents ,but from what I’ve seen is not 5 or 4 star play. So if y’all think he is that good 👍🏽 so be it but until I see something different then it is what it is !
